Country hit.
But Jim McBride is totally right.
Crystal Gayle was much better
than Loretta Lynn.

and WAY better to look at.
The only advantage I can give to
Loretta Lynn is that she wrote a lot
of her songs and Crystal Gayle
wasn't a songwriter.
But Crystal Gayle found and
recorded far better songs than
Loretta Lynn could write.
