I was free, free from psichiatric drugs finally, I decided to stop taking it, and many things happen, I can´t explain how is the feeling of not taking it, may be what you feel when you use drugs, I was extremely conected to everything, I was so sensitive that people´s emotions could hurt me or take me to the paradise, and my emotions was so fluid that my own emotions could hurt others or take them to the paradise... then I went to the forest and get lost there, came back to home after almost die in the nature, then I went to the summer house alone and I try to go to paradise dying by stop eating, I stop eating for 3 weeks, I almost die but then my family found me, and that´s when they internated me into a psichiatric facility... I was internated 3 times for diferent reasons, I created a novel, a song and 2 videos in the time I was sick, because everytime I went out to the psichiatric facility I stoped taking the medicine that didn´t let me feel things with that extremely high passion... and everytime they internated me I feeled like this song, virgins cells to penetrate, my cells was virgin and the medicine doctors injected me was penetrating my cells, I didn´t understand why they had to rape my cells with that medicines, I just wanted to be free to feel... I never hurt anyone fisicaly, never ofended anyone, I was peacefull but people got hurted with my words even if I didn´t say bad words, and people felt my love in an extreme way... now I have to take my medicine after my last try to suicide so I am now more normal, but this song make me remember how I used to feel when my family internated me into psichiatric facilities...

Did anyone fail to mention that Ethan Kath is being sued by Alice Glass for sexual misconduct? That's basically the reason why she left the band. Ethan is currently the subject of a Sex Crimes Investigation. I hate to say this, but Crystal Castles might end sometime in the future if this goes to court.

I interpret this song as in realizing about how far we’ve come in violence and oppression as humans, expressed in lyrics such as “Infants in infantry”, realizing we’re a disease that spread across the world (“I am the plague”), though we need to come back to our purity as natural things (“I need you pure, I need you clean”) and that no sweet lies can cover that (“Don’t try to enlighten me”). The chorus talks about the errors we made and in the end we can ear the chorus in reverse, as in we need to reverse those errors in order to become better humans, letting the verses speak about our need to better ourselves as natural beings no matter what
