I'm singing and playing this song to my boyfriend on Christmas.

Just found this yesterday when I went looking for the SHeDAISY version of the song, and then found the AI vids (no TV, so kind of out of the loop on this stuff).  You made my evening fabulous.  Watching and hearing you sing makes me dream of a day when all children grow up singing and playing a guitar they found in the closet, a violin their uncle gave them, a flute passed down from a friend, an when nations are in conflict, they get together and have a battle of the bands, and then sit around the campfire and eat and talk.  You embody hope (no pressure).  And Simon was right: just keep being you.

This could have been a James Taylor song...the guitar playing is very reminiscent of his, especially with all the hammer-ons and melodies within the chords.

My fave thing about her is that she stayed true to herself. She hasn't let anyone change her style or look. She also has a pure, raw, voice, that doesn't even sound edited. Most music now is so auto tuned it sounds terrible. This is just so amazing and I love it!

i love crystal but i often wonder if she really knew how much the dumb ring on her face costed her. she's folk and basically country. and most people would reather see a beautiful face without a ring in it. something i never understood why people do that.
