To my mind, Crowded House are the closest anyone has come, or is likely to come, to reaching the heights of the Beatles. Still not the Beatles, but in air rarified enough to not be destroyed by comparison to them.

Such a sweet song.

Love every aspect of this song. The dreamy melody and poignant lyrics, the production, Mark Hart's incredible guitar in the bridge. Its one of the best songs I've ever heard and one of the few that bring me to tears with how well its crafted.

For years this was my favourite song of all-time. Like a lot of their songs, I'd heard them around growing up but didn't know who they were by until Recurring Dream came out. Always thought the guitar solo was perfect for the song too.

Loads of videos have popped up on Neil’s channel. So why are they only showing now when some have comments from over a year ago? I didn’t use a search engine, just saw a number appear next to the subscribed channel. Interested to know why please, anyone? Thanks.

They've been embedded on http://www.neilfinn.com/videos since 2012. I think each view only counted when people clicked all the way through to the video's unlisted YouTube page. Now a small selection of those videos have been made "public" and searchable on the YouTube site.
