I'm now 65. I was just 19 when I heard this song. Listening to it brings back all those awesome and turbulent times when I was heading out on my own and still very young.

I know this is a love song but it also reminds me so much of one of my best friends, who died in August, on the same day as my mother, years earlier. We used to sit in her room and talk and go for walks with our babies, who were born the same year. How can she be gone? This song captures it all.

What a beautiful song...When I first picked up a guitar I told my teacher I want to learn this song. A lot of people don't know Jim's partner and guitar player also died that day his name was Maury Meuhleisen (I hope that's right he was a great musician) That chunk of wood & strings has taken me around the world, but I'd never fly in a small plane, for obvious reasons. What a loss.

I just discovered this song browsing my way through music learning new songs. This song caught me off guard and had me in a solid state of sitting with my eyes closed, my head in my palms and just taking in every bit of sound I could hear. It takes me through a journey of sadness followed by happiness, indeed shows memories flashing by, good and bad. I absolutely love this song and it lifts me up from where I am sitting, taking me up and overviewing the life I live. It's absolutely insane what this song did to me in the course of 15 minutes.
