But every Friday morning I got to run a seniors bowling league and I’ll never forget an old man named Cotton who would walk past the front desk singing this song, so I played it every Friday for him and me, and it’s one of my favorites now. Just added it to my wedding playlist (I’m marrying one of those bowling alley coworkers 😏) we’re all gonna groove to it, for you Cotton ❤️

I originally heard “You Don’t Mess Around With Jim” from stranger things. I was a little curious, and enjoyed the song when I found it. After that, I simply couldn’t stop listening to Croce. This being one of my favorites. It gives me nostalgic memories from down south back in 2013, there was this kid named Leo who was basically what Leroy is. Good ole memories :)
