Cribs, The - We Share The Same Skies Lyrics
A strange union the other day
It's a dead Russian, the papers say
But it would be nice if they realised
That she thought 'he is mine'
I was helping you out
While your hope died under northern skies
and it shows
I was helping you to realise
The reason why, it was no surprise
No way
The act will pass by no-one
And I'm sad to say it's no different today
Be comforted by we share the same skies
I have decided it's best that you know
I'm still thinking about
Old lies as north-west skies grow cold
No point in denying
Anxiety was my favourite feeling after jealousy
Yeah, I'll concede
That I could not be as nervous as I was
I could not, no way

Yes Sir. Those forgotten rockers is played still. Find your way to www.playbackrock.dk. We've got 'em; We love 'em. Classics and great rock hits
Cant believe they were lucky enough to release an album with an absolute legend playing with them. England's scene is a lot more connected than our's to the west.
Best song ever on Match of the day. They need to bring it back
Ahhhhh, that guitar by Johnny Marr... Who's Johnny Marr? Well, I'll put it this way, this song could've been one created by The Smiths... Who are The Smiths, you ask? To that I say, "Jesus, have you been living under a rock!"
One word...
underrated!
The cribs are my favourite band, probably ever, seen them live many times . This is a cracking tune , like so many they have done.
johnny johnny johnny fuckin marr...
Johnny.
I love this songgggg
This song is hard
I love 2000’s indie
Love it ❤
This song will always make me remember a girlfriend I had. Anxiety and jealousy made me overreact at the problems and arguments we had so she broke up with me. This song represents how both of us stared at the sky at night remembering those good old days of love and trust, debating if things could be different or could have been different.
~* u *~
The best MOTD goals tune ever
Played this song on Rocksmith
Played it well
Was like this is pretty cool
Looked up this song
Suddenly
JOHNNY FOOKIN MARR
was playin his part on guitar
One of the guitarist look like the one from the smiths :)
Eliot Boisteau he is.
it's a joke in fact
The one in the middle? I don't see it.
JOHnny MARR
Just heard these for the first time they are fucking amazing
Who else is here because you also found out Johnny Marr was not only in the Smiths, but also in Modest Mouse and you wanted to know what his other band, the Cribs were all about? Because of WatchMojo?
MusicalFool 909 nah they're just local to me so..
Knew about them since they released Men's Needs way back in '07, fellow northerners
perfect
why dont they play this song live anymore?
Al Pacino on guitar
Derp Herp Johnny fucking Marr

I love listening to this song during the Fall for some reason...
ha, same! i discovered and saw the Cribs in concert last October and now they will forever be associated with Fall for me as well
Mia Evans same here it fits the atmosphere
So underrated...
so true... amazing band
omg the ending song for the anime "Say I Love You" has a similar chord progression as this song. Kinda funny how this came out 2009 and the anime came out 2 years later. I love The Cribs even more 💕🤘🏼
OMG!!!!JUST STUMBLED ACROSS THESE WHEN LOOKONG FOR bloc Party concertWHOSE COMING WITH ME TO SEEEEE THESE? LOVE THEM!!!!!!
Wait what. Are they opening for them or something
I feel unbelievably struck by this tune, it seems magical, endless and exciting! Rating a band like this is a privilege, you should feel honoured of admitting you're in love with this outstanding music unlike most people apparently going crazy for the worthless artists that the charts drop all the time! I think that the message these guys supposed to give out is clear but abstract and tender. Did you get the subtle message they needed to grant us all?
fretui medak great words..so true. I got the message. :-)
fretui medak ñol
Mike moñp
lo
si no fuera por el wey de la zona cero !! no conociera la banda !! :v
si te gusta te recomiendo escuchar a the strokes oh tal vez the Oh sees te guste mas aun
Vaya, tarde un año en responder esta vaina, lo siento, y gracias... Si no fuera por ti en parte no escucharía the strokes ahora... Gracias <3
A couple of weeks passed since i started to listen this band. my main reason was the guitar sound which is very similar to Marrs. And i was sure they were inspired by Marr. When i saw him by himself in this video, just think how i felt. Oh my god. Chills. Love you MARR..
Intro sounds like The Smiths songs.
+Burak Öz thats because johnny marr wrote this
You just haven't earned it yet baby
NOT EVEN CLOSE
pulento
damn, it's so good.
So there I was, jamming on a few Rocksmith songs, nothing unusual there, until I come across a song I hadn't tried yet.
"The Cribs? Sounds like a meh band to me, but I'll give it a go."
The following 3 minutes I was astounded by the sounds I was hearing, of all the music I've heard over the years, I've never heard this string of notes, and playing them felt even better.
TL:DR I was wrong about the band.
I didn't know The Cribs were on rocksmith. Going to to have to have another look.
It's really a matter of johnny marr joining this band for this album. He was the guitarist for 'the smiths' and he is incredible on guitar.
JOHNNY, JOHNNY, JOHNNY FUCKIN MARR
that song is simply awesome
johnny marr makes me sooo wet
i wanna make his fringe soggy
the guitarist looks like peado
love lucy hammond
vv
This song is the shit
Ryan Jarman, the only man in the known world who could possibly pull off that haircut.
Cette chanson donne la joie de vivre.
I spotted like 30 different UFO's in the background
This is pure class .. I am humble but for someone like me who is a lot into music and appreciates what´s good and what´s not .. This is Marr just listen to this melody its obvious it´s his work cause he´s unique .. Try to compare this classy sound with the vulgar noise that many " wannabe indie " bands have .. There is no possible comparison Marr´s a genious ...
Polskich fanów zapraszam na facebooka The Cribs - Poland!

I love this song! Love the Cribs!
ロックスミスで弾いたけども弾いてて気持ち良い曲

Hey YouTubers! Come over and check out our page to help show your support for unsigned artists! Remember, all of your favorite bands were once unsigned! =)
Cheers!
The MCs
Great band! If you like The Cribs, you would probably like that new band. Just search:
"Drift Disorder - Haven't You Ever Been Here?".
You might fall in love :)
Now I know why this song is so great, because there is the touch of Johnny Marr on it...
Johnnnnnnyyyyyy
Johnny!
Awkward when I've seen Johnny live, have a shrine dedicated to The Smiths in my room, own every single Smiths album, my whole bedroom wall is covered in Smiths pictures and I basically adore them. You could say I've gone and listened to The Smiths then...
That's a hilarious comment :)
so beautiful love it
i found 'the cribs' today, it was the best find i have ever made!
having johnny marr on board was epic =] hope he comes back for random gigs
He played a few songs with them a few years ago, he's concentrating on his solo stuff now though.
We Share The Same Skies is a top tune. If you wanna listen to another one, you can search:
"Drift Disorder - Haven't You Ever Been Here?".
You just could be surprised, trust me :)!
Guitar is good too.
Awesome song,i am not really into indie rock, but this is amazing
Best song on rocksmith
Haha I've been playing it over and over. Bass?
And Modest mouse, Steam engenius he'too beast!
Thanx rocksmith.
Imagine how this band must've felt when they got Johnny Marr to join them for this album, I'd be fucking ecstatic.
you can tell johnny wrote this all on his own.
awesome song! If you like the Cribs, you would probably like that new band. Just search:
"Drift Disorder - Haven't You Ever Been Here?". Nice tune!
For a quality underground band, check out THE BLUE COLLARS. Top, top band, trust me.
Johnny Marr is God
Just noticed that was Johnny Marr ;)

Have a listen to THE BLUE COLLARS if you're into this sorta stuff. They're an underground band on the RISE.
Love it,love it.
he said ''his generation''.jimmy page isnt in the same generation......
Jonny Marr is fucking awesome, but I'd say Jimmy Page hands down.
Wondering how it would be with Morrissey's melody...
regular band with the greatest guitar man of all times!
This isnt my normal music but its pretty good but i have been playing it on rocksmith and the bass part is enjoyable to play
Since when did Tony Montana play the guitar?!
Johnny Marr. Truly a legend.
@Denismgc Well Modest mousse first three albums were incredible ( if you haven't heard 'the lonesome crowded west you should really check it out). Maybe I'm exaggerating a bit when I say, he ruined them but they like based all the album around him and I read somewhere that he changed a lot of the songwriting. Dont get me wrong I do like him and the smiths but I just dont like the fact he went into a great band, changed their styl completely and then just left.
just doing my first visit of the day..
