Creed - Wrong Way Lyrics
What makes you touch?
What makes you feel?
What makes you stop and smell the roses in an open field?
What makes you unclean?
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, Yeah
Yeah, yeah,
Yeah, yeah, Yeah
Yeah, Yeah
What makes you laugh?
What makes you cry?
What makes our youth run
From the thought that we might die?
What makes you bleed?
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, Yeah
Somebody told me the wrong way
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, Yeah
Somebody told me the wrong way
What if I died?
What did I give?
I hope it was an answer so you might live
I hope I helped you live
I hope I helped you live
I hope I helped you live
I hope I helped you live...live
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, Yeah
Somebody told me the wrong way
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, Yeah
Somebody told me the wrong way
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, Yeah

The best Band
Epic post grunge!!!!best album from them!!!
From 2:01 to 2:30 it sounds like an Avenged Sevenfold song but with a better singer lol
Good guitar work on this track

3:00 sounds like the guitar is asking something... What a guitar player...
We,re all a bunch of freaks anymore!
muito louco essa música vou canta ela qualquer dia
The most underrated album I can think of off the top of my head
But it sold like a billion copies in 1999-2004
Genre : Pop? wtf? fix it, Mr.Uploader
Who's listen in 2018!? 🙌
Pfft, I'm listening in 2019
end days
Michael Henrique
Genre, pop? WTF? This is rock metal hard i dont know...pop? Dale
Genre: POP".....Fucking dumbass
This song is FIERCE.
i hope i helped you live!!!!!!
Nice Elliot Rodgers avatar picture.
I like this song but always felt it should have been a b-side instead. The underrated Young Grow Old should have been track 5 on Human Clay.
como algum filho da puta pode dar "nao gostei" nessa música???
excelente tema
"genre - pop" 😐
radio friendly pop
Guitar Player Hope you're joking, cause clearly this is not pop, or "radio friendly pop"...
Genre, I say awesome.
This is what was popular in 1999
Pop?you Are stupid or what?
the best guitar reef I ever heard..!!
I used to listen to this album back in the day, not bad comparing the rest of the commercial crap at the time. IMO this is their best track ever, along "What If"
This song kicks so much ass from 2:00 onward!
band like any other fu*king band. I cannot get why there is so much hatred towards this band from rock/metal fans... don't know why
+Jerzy Dziś The lyrics and it's relatively cookie cutter.
Jerzy Dziś Because society nowadays cuts bands down as soon as they achieve commercial success. It's disgusting really. That and the Christian interpretation make a lot of people dislike them for no good reason. O well, haters will hate, it's just what they do lol
It's because they don't like Scott Stapp, and therefore they proceed to bash Creed.
Best Creed Song
Fucking drums tempo...
Paul I like by Creed evrefing I from Poland
Only song I like by Creed, other than "What If".
+Don Carlson oh ok. I guessed I never seen that ego or cocky side ppl
Say scott had. I mean I've looked up so many old interviews with him and never got that vibe lol. But still listen to mostly the 1st two albums, but the ballads I can't really get into is much, Like there big single ballads. I love there heavy stuff better, like for example " what if" lol
@Kris Sanders I really can't fault his voice or his talent. He has great technique. But watch his meltdown on Youtube from last year when he was living in a motel. You will witness an ugliness that can't help but upstage all of his accomplishments.
+Don Carlson oh yes I saw that lol. He got back on those drugs again. He had problem with them back when they were younger in the early 2000's. He was tripping, having psychotic episodes and being in denial to the ppl around him like mark Tramonti who took one look at those Videos he made last year, and knew right away he was using again. But I never cared for musicians personal life problems, I just listen there music lol. The only thing I'm let down about him, is he lost his voice. They say it was the steroid he took for inflammation that he get on his vocal cords, but the steroid with time wore out his vocal box. So he can't hit those strong growl type screams anymore. Shit, I'm sorry man, I'm writing way to much lol
@Kris Sanders You're fine. I'm kind of worried about the steroid comment- I'm going on Prednisone soon for stomach problems and wonder about its effect on the vocal cords.
+Don Carlson well, he prally over used those cortisone shots was all, man. Remember they were on crazy long touring sessions. So he kept having to bring those cortisone shots case his throat swelled up during touring. Ya can tell he used them a lot, cuz go look up old live performances from them. Ya can see in very short time periods, Scott's face is all puffy and fat looking, but his body was thin still. That's the side effect of that steroid. I always wondered why one night his face was normal, then not long after very chunky. But you probably want be using whatever steroid med for long I'm sure. But his drinking and smoking also contributed to his voice problems.
I can't believe that the best track of this group is so massively unheard of
Naw, listen to illusion, ode, in America, bound n tied, torn live 98. They had so many great songs, ppl just didn't take time to view albums, less it was big creed fans. I haven't really listen to a creed song I didn't like. I don't like songs on his solo stuff, but creed was gold is long has he had his voice In good shape.
they really hit a unique sound here with this one say i and a few others from this album that i feel they never quite reached again thats just me its just so dark and groovy and then in your face and hardcore
What a glorious voice this man has.
count beats its to hard realy great music
And one more thing All the band members of Creed were just phenonminnal.
Scott Stapp & Creed*
Hai cutie
Definately Vincent Scott Stapp starts touring 2014 new album Proof Of Life*
Nice music
Like Scott Stapp in an interview I believe it was with spin magazine! "When I write I don't think about anything else in that moment but what's coming from inside of me. Now that's deep and how music should be written and he sings just as he writes his music. No one can ever duplicate Scott Stapp and Creed!!!!!!
of course, people preach what they believe. People do and speak according to what they believe, and in that it's revealed what they worship. I hope i helped you live.
Creed you guys where what i listened to when i was a teen. You guys are so good. Get over your differences and your strife cause you guys are so good. We all need you to take us higher.
Its ok. we have Alter Bridge!
Yeahhhh yeah... Yeahhhh yeahhhhb yeaayeaayeajhhhh
My god on every video you guise are fighting about if there a Christian band or not well who gives a fuck im most definitely not Christian ,but I could care less what people believe and if they make good music well im going to listen to it either way,Like come on does it really matter.
truth is if you don't believe in Christ, you got a pile of sin in your life and you are just the same old depraved person you have always been. Life is dull without God.
Zach Wells ummm.... go spread your bullshit elsewhere... bible thumpin idiot
This song reminds me of my last job
I'm not denying Scotts Christian beliefs, or Marks or Bryans... But yeah
I didn't say they were. Neither is Kansas. But there is no denying the obvious Christian themes. They were asked if they were a Christian band and denied it saying that a Christian band tries to change someone's mind in how they worship, and that They thought it should be left up to that person to figure out how to worship God.
here's a quote from Scott himself "A lot of people mis-understood us I think, sure most of the songs I wrote, had God in them, or they sounded like they mentioned God, I actually made a deal with him, I said if you make us famous, I promise all the lyrics will be about you, and it turns out every time i sat down to write, those lyrics came to my head. Its funny though cause if you look at songs like Wash Away Those Years, Pity For a Dime, Bullets etc. They never really mention God"
you are far from the truth.
Where did he say this?
They are NOT a Christian Rock band! PERIOD! It doesn't matter what you think or say, or what anyone else thinks or says. They are a hard rock band.
(From: My Own Prison)
"I hear thunder in the distance, see a vision of a cross. I feel the pain that was given on that sad day of loss. A lion roars in the darkness, only he holds the key, a light to free my from my burden and grant me life eternally.
I cry out to God seeking only His decision, Gabriel stands and confirms I've created my own prison.
Correction. Scott used to be a fantastic singer. He was great on the first album. Still decent on the second. Falling off by the third. His voice went to shit after Creed broke up. Now he sounds fucking terrible. The end.
scott is such a freakin' lousy singer but mark is a bomb guitarist. the rhythm section is rock solid to boot.
THATS NOT POP
ITS METAL
Me encanta!!
I agree, very post-grungish, although Stapp had a variety of influences including soul and classic rock and Tremonti was/is a huge metalhead
Nice! I had it on tape lol
Pop? Are you retarded?
Lol. That's hilarious
This was one of the first CDs I owned when I was a teen, and still have it!..This song is the shit!!..
back when human clay was released, mark tremonti (the guitarist) specifically said they are not christian rock, but they use any religious reference as a metaphor.
post-grunge hard rock with christian undertones?
they are not christian rock..
even you know the quote, he wrote the songs, inspired by God..."they just came to mind" If you knew Christ, like really knew him, you would know the lyrics are life lessons and have Christ teachings in them.
they are not christian rock..
Definetly post grunge!
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah , yeah. This is one of my faves from this album.
Satans reply,no,just enjoying the moment, chaos, homosexual sex accepted, just gettin ready to punish that azz!
genre:pop, are you having a laugh.
