Cream - Rollin' And Tumblin' Lyrics
Hey, hey, hey, hey , hey , hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey, hey , hey , hey, hey
We were rollin' and tumblin'
Right the whole night long
We were rollin' and tumblin'
Right the whole night long
When I woke up this mornin' baby
All I had was gone
Well I rolled my baby
She's goin' to jump and shout
Well I rolled my baby
When that train rolls up boys
I'm gonna come walkin' on home
Hey, hey, hey, hey , hey , hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey, hey , hey , hey, hey
Engine driver blows that whistle
Fireman rings that bell
Engine driver blows that whistle
Fireman rings that bell
Well I didn't have time boys
To bid my baby farewell
[Live Cream:]
Hey, hey, hey, hey , hey , hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey, hey , hey , hey, hey, hey
yeh, yeh, yeh, yeh, yeh, yeh, yeh, yeh
We were rollin' and tumblin'
Right the whole night long
We were rollin' and tumblin'
Right the whole night long
When I woke up this mornin' babe
All I had was gone
Well I rolled my baby
Got to jump and shout
Said I rolled my baby
Got to jump and shout
When that train rolls up boys
Goin' walkin' on home
Hey, hey, hey, hey , hey , hey, hey, hey
yeh, yeh, yeh, yeh, yeh, yeh, yeh, yeh
Hey, hey, hey, yeh , hey , hey, yeh, yey
Well engine driver blows that whistle
Fireman rings that bell
Say engine driver blows that whistle
Fireman rings that bell
Well I didn't have time boys
To bid my baby farewell

Go, Ginger go!

Those middle-aged ladies dancing in the wings says it all.
R.I.P Ginger
One of the most badass drummers ever! 👿🔥 Heaven got more heavy brother. RIP
Just in the pocket right here.
For all intent and purposes Clapton is playing bass on his guitar through the harp solo.
These guys aren't young, the experience of playing instruments has jelled
Listening to Cream in the early days on their LP's you could never predict what was coming next. they were so versatile. Here's one example.
If the river was whiskey, n' I was a diving duck.
There is no better version. Brilliant - and love Ginger's drumming.
What for a`great song and performance from the greatest formation of all times CREAM with Jack Bruce R.I.P., Ginger Baker and the best Guitar man of all times "Mr.Slowhand"Eric Clapton fantastic music forever !!!!!
GINGER SIR BAKER!
Eric and Ginger just locked in like a locomotive !!!
19 people didn't like this !! What putz's.
Wow amazing this is right before smart phones
man, what is Ginger Baker playing...he's like a locomotive ! Strong, fast but in control all the times. What a legend.
Ginger baker ... never broke sweat
Ginger baker ....awesome
don't watch this after Burnside's. it seems just woeful
PorkFrog i disagree I like the speed and momentum of this version, Canned Heat’s will probably always be my favorite though.
only god knows what it was about the musicians of the sixties that produced the amazing musical legacy of which Cream was just one ( great ) contributing factor
OK, I am confused: wasn't Cream these 3 men: Clapton-Baker-Bruce ? Then who was the guy on vocals/playing harmonica? And it was good to see Clapton moving around, jamming, since he usually get too animated!!
That was Jack Bruce.
thanks......just goes to show how versatile some musicians are!
Still the best..old or young.love you jack..Eric.. cousin ginger..yeah

Go to the Rising Star Band and the North Mississippi All Stars.
One cannot simply sit still to this. Love it.
Eric jack ginger inmortals
Cream fantastic .forever
Bruce = genius. RIP.
For his guitar playing which isn't on the level of the top ranked violinists in the world.
+Andrew Schiff really, what is wrong with yo if you does not like this music, go away. Everybody comes here to have a good time. it is just music. it is not about who is better
I'm allowed to do what I want it's a free country. I happen to like Jack Bruce quite a bit but what I object to is people using the term genius and throwing it around like a beach ball. Jack Bruce is a fine musician, there's no two ways about it. But a genius he's not. Get lost.
+Andrew Schiff yes, you are right. it is a free country SO WE CAN SAY Bruce is Better than Mozart and Beethoven 😜😂
I wasn't denying that.
Beautiful live sweet wine. That sound from Bruce Baker Clapton The BBC!
Excellent stuff...timeless
You cant beat this music as far as reaching the soul !! Its tops with me and I would chop my left nut off to see this live again with JACK (God please rest his soul) . Amazing artist . RIP Jack!

Snoop dog
@Richard Alpert I bet Snoop Dog can't play the Blues
Yeah, but you have to be British (it's a joke)
No one.
literally nobody
That groove reached at the solo is just incredible, look how it makes dance to the people... AMAZING!
Now kids...that is how it is done!!!
dis song make me want MOVE! and go places!
IN MEMORIAM FOR JACK
Amazing song..
Ginger kills this song. Incredible precision
Jack Bruce. Probably the only person to have played a harmonica solo in the royal Albert hall
Power blues played by 3 scorching musicians. The fact that they're named Cream is almost irrelevant. If you heard it on the radio this song would a 'who's this?!?', no matter who was playing it.
Clapton was 60, Bruce was 62 and Baker was 67 in 2005 when this was done...These guys were all in for these shows..
+Jerry Splinter This reunion concert was in early May. Bruce was still 61 and Baker is 65.
Jerry Splinter I wish I could have been there.
Exzellent Blues Harp .... God smile .-)
YES GINGER. DO IT JACK!!
2:30 Acid Trip
it's the devil's music! it makes all the white women dance!
Mr. Clapton plays his ass off on this tune.
Damn I love the way Ginger Plays this song.
Just goes to show, never underestimate old geezers.
not bad for three old geezers!
did clapton use a slide on the original?
Yes he’s always played it with a slide
Bitch,please: 3:25 ...
Still one of the best ever blues songs ever ,regardless that they are as old as me and keep on rocking .Wish that I could be as good !
NOW! they can call themselves true bluesmen.
the blues is music + wisdom.
wish I was there dancin'
2:30 for the best dance you'll ever see
Chipadychuck looks like Jim Morrison got the spirit!!
