Cream - Dance The Night Away Lyrics

Goner build myself a castle
High up in the clouds.
There'll be skies outside my window,
Lose these streets and crowds.

Dance the night away.

Will find myself an ocean,
Sail into the blue.
Live with golden swordfish,
Forget the time of you.

Dance the night away.

Dance myself to nothing,
Vanish from this place.
Gonna turn myself to shadow
So I can't see your face.

Dance the night away.

Dance the Night Away, What a song!. This song has a very good anagram in it about the Middle Christ Prince Madog' ap Owain Gwynedd's pilgrimage inn motte and bailey timber castlee at Pelican Pointe where is is entombed. Check out Pelican Pointe Road Last Mountain Lake Sask Canada and use 2003 year images as Eric used this Astrolabe map for Layla as it transposes over to the Persian gulf and the one circle below the Astrolabe man's foot is by Layla, the other circle is Medina. Jimmy Page used it for 'Zoso'. Parts of the Book of Revelation were written at Madog's Hill by Jesus Christ in 62AD after the Iceni were defeated as Jesus lost his tek tone's guilds lands along the River Tone by Tewktin[Taunton], both names came from tek tone who were global metal traders, artisan, smelters who needed England's tin for making bronze mixed in with copper. Elihana Elia had it's anagram on her facebook along with Lovin' Spoonful's Nashville Cats anagram about her. from when she was recently recording in Memphis. I was reincarnated from Madog and Eris was reincarnated from his brother Cynwrig . We called him 'sign' and we were Culdee Monks and Madog fought in several major battles at the Falls of the Ohio and Eyebrow Hills by Brownlee- Eyebrow Sask. We were Abbot kings and Eric's kingdom was the Dog Head straight west of Stonehenge in an area called Valhalla. The area was originally under the control of the ancient copper miners of western Lake Superior from the Middle East, since before 5500BC or 7500 years ago. Genetic tests of the natives show they have the same acoomon ancestors as King David & Jesus Christ. Dog Heasd-Big Arm use year 2003 on google earth imagesRevelation = Elia V Tenor=Vote Riel NA, North America= Arm A Nice Thor, Thor Ram Nicea= A Man Eric Thor = A Thor In Cream. At the end of the Book of Revelation in Rev22:15 you will see Dogs at the Gates to the City or Heaven which is the very ancient Dog Head at Big Arm-Last Mountain Lake's Stairway to Heaven -Jacob's Ladder where the World Court ruled the bible starts and ends. Rev 22:16 David of the Bright Morning Star is me Eric's half brother and Rev22:17 Bride of the Book of Revelation is Elihana Elia an Israeli Singer born in Orlando Florida and we inherited the Crown of England Chancery. She was born my legal wife and Eric's sister in law. We are in many older hymn's and God Save the Queen etc. in anagram codes usually in the first two lines of the lyrics and sometimes the writer uses the title. Eric's clan simply carried on. She was just '17' you know what I mean, Beatles Dancing Queen -ABBA who was '17' Eric's Pilgrim cover My Father's Eyes, is linked to, Tears in Heaven is linked to the Valahalla Dog Head as is Immigrant Song. Eric Reptile is the Rev12 Serpent Dragon located straight north of the Dog Head at Dellwood Reservoir Dam. So we are now in Hebrew year 5779 'EGGI' A =1 in our alphabet, Egg Plant Cream cover or I am a Walrus 'Eggman' and egg is in Doing that Scrapyrad Thing along with Zeppelin at the end of my nose. Led Zep has a poster image along with Mothership with a red colored outline of Saskatchewan with the nose pointing to Edmonton, now flip it the other way, and it point's to Iceland where Eric caught a big fish on King David's Psalm 104 Layline weitten into Layla Stairway to Heaven = He At Norway, It Save, He is our father Odin that lives in a city inside a mountain range in Vesteralem Norway, King David = Viking Dad, Dave Duane Boyce-Dad= Boyce Avenue from Miami Florida where the angel Elihana Elia lived as a little girl, what a fantastic singer she is!

  74. C.... S....

Anyone who knows how he gets that guitar tone? It isn’t just fuzz or cranked amp. It sounds very treble so not woman tone either. I can kinda get that tone with wah i toe position?

    C.... S....

As stated above, he used a Fender 12 for the soloing on this.

    C.... S....

can't get it without a bell like 12 string.

  75. A.... P....

Ya, Ginger Baker, Eric Clapton, but the songwriting of Jack Bruce is peerless. Especially the first 2 album's.... outstanding.

  76. M.... 1....

    Clapton playing a fender 12 string 😊

  77. C.... F....

This is Clapton doing, as he did so many wonderful times, what Jimi did a bit more often, which is no dis of Eric; rather, I mean it as a compliment. Who among us has done, musically; even once, what Jimi did often? What wonderful musical genius did Eric give us in this song? The wah-wah from heaven; that’s what! Which is to say, that Eric’s playing was often as if God Himself, was playing guitar. We got a first solid taste of that in Hideaway (no wonder Jimi wanted to meet Eric). Eric likely got a first taste of that from Freddie King.
The elite club of heavenly output guitar heroes also includes no less than the likes of Jeff Beck, Van Halen, Stevie Ray, Billy Gibbons, Joe Walsh, and such likewise awesome ax-men (being a killer list that must include your own top three favs), and Jimi, and God (who, arguably, created it all; with a little help from his friends; namely, those awesome artists, and you and me, and all fans). We can’t leave out the genius engineers and produces that were part of the miracle! Thanks Eric! You made the most of what God gave you, and as a result, we all are all blessed with your perfect music (as deemed by us, your fans, via our personal perfect tastes).

  80. P.... M....

    What a blast

  81. J.... M....

Ginger shows that awesome drumming doesn't have to be super fast or hyper-complicated, it just has to feel 'right'. Love Eric's ethereal guitar sound.....give some credit to the sound engineer, too.

    J.... M....

Tom Dowd engineered at Atlantic Studios in NYC, album was done in 3.5 days

    J.... M....

@Donal Callum thats what you call pure magic.

  82. T.... M....

I know It's a little strange to analyze a song I've been listening to for 50 years... but listening to this I remembered reading a report about Musical Psychedelic Trance..harmonic components of which are able to transport the listener into a state of euphoria. Not unlike "8 Miles high" and "Chestnut Mare" there are motions and gestures where you are almost feeling out of your body.. it is such an accomplishment that these wonderful musicians were able to effect so many music lovers in this way.

    T.... M....

Very interesting observation, and I totally agree!

    T.... M....

Yes this is A Byrd tribute, Cream admired them highly.

    T.... M....

jack bruce had said this was their tribute to the byrds

  83. J.... D....

Cream's nod to the Byrds' style of 8 Miles High. Yet another production gem by Felix Pappalardi; speeded up guitars and all.....have you ever heard a cooler ending to a Rock tune?

    J.... D....

No speeded up guitars on this song

  84. G.... ....

This is possibly the most underrated psychedelic rock song of all time! The synergy between the base the guitar and the drums is so powerful it sends chills up my spine!
Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce(Bass), and Ginger Baker(Drums)! Baker carries the band! But the band together is transcendental man!

    G.... ....

Eric used a Twelve string on it.

He was influenced by what the Byrds were doing at the time.

    G.... ....

@Garret Fitzgerald Eight Miles High maybe???????

    G.... ....

    Underrated by whom?

    G.... ....

Possibly, though there are so many underappreciated songs from the psychedelic era that trying to boil it down to one is pretty much a fool's errand. Try "Coming Down" by the band United States of America, to name but one of many.

    G.... ....

This song transcends worldly music. It comes from interstellar space.

  85. p.... ....

    Byrds-y cool...

  86. t.... s....

Did this song make it to any compilation albums?

  87. s.... ....

    ROCK on

  88. G.... F....

    My song

  89. F.... ....

    So unusual. Double falsetto. Unique.

    F.... ....

I had never thought of it in that way before . Jack used falsetto quite
a lot on this album , but Clapton had a high voice in those
days anyway , so he only had to go up an octave to harmonise with
Jack's voice . I listened to this song for so many years . I always
focused on the 12 string guitar and Jack's voice , but Eric comes
through as well . Pete Brown's lyrics are haunting .

  90. J.... P....

I can hear the talent, and the greatness in these songs to a certain extent. But they would mean more, and resonate with me more, had I been born in 1956 instead of '66. The times and the sounds don't quite mean as much to me, so I can only enjoy what I think is good. I can still hear a "dated" quality in this era, even with this great band. Does that make sense? I am not saying this doesn't sound good, because it does. It just doesn't quite nail it for me in my experiences. Doesn't quite make me get as excited as a song from when I was 15 would (like Tom Sawyer or Red Barchetta or You Better You Bet or Any Way You Want it) simply because there is no backdrop to it. I guess that explains my connection to music. Having said all of that LOL.....Cream sounds awesome to me. And I can get into it somewhat.

    J.... P....

1955 birth for me. Yeah, the recording engineering is crude. But a great piece anyway. SO unusual.

    J.... P....

Hey Sweetie, don't worry about your age so much. This song is very real to connect with. If you feel it in your gut, it's real. I first heard Disraeli Gears in 1970 when I was 13, but it moves me more now than it did then. Some things are timeless.

    J.... P....

Shit I was born in 1981, and I love this band. I grew up listening to Alice in Chains, Metallica, and Korn, but I still think a lot of 60s-70s stuff kicks ass, stuff like Cream, Sabbath, Hendrix, Zeppelin, Genesis, Floyd, Tull, Yes.... I also think Bach kicks ass, and he's from the 1700s. You're right, I don't feel any sort of nostalgia when I hear any of this stuff, but maybe I will 20 years from now.

  91. G.... A....

    RIP Jack

@Sluff Adlin Emerson, Lake and Palmer also had classical background, jazz as well. Keith Emerson was a composer written with the orchestra in mind Carl Palmer as well. Greg Lake was heavily into folk and classical. They were far from being "rock and roll" but they were stuck with the same thing as Cream, being referred to as a rock and roll band.
