I've been riding high since I was sixteen and been tied up caught up couldn't get loose. I ride for my buddy who got killed while riding bull. It was our passion to ride and hit another rodeo together. So I continue riding for him. We was like brothers.

LOL  I have a good friend...he got hung up one night the bullfighter couldn't get in as the bull was wrapping too fast.  So the bullfighter (Tony L) just stood there broke down while my buddy was helicoptering around...Tony had the stupidest look on his face....My buddy, Jay, had this terrified look until Tony was able to get in there and get his tail.  Funniest shit I've ever seen.

I assume you meant "U weren't the one hung up".  You'd be incorrect.  I never find it funny at people's misfortunes.  If Jay (my buddy) wouldn't have been laughing afterwards...and Tony wouldn't have been laughing...and Jay and I both agreed...Tony had a stupid look on his face....If that hadn't happened...I wouldn't have found it funny at all. 

I've rode since I was 13, I'm 23 now, won in the Federation bullriding and A.F.R.A. , broke lots of bones it's a passion, I seen my brother get killed while fighting a bull for me and that's the reason I still ride to this day

My son has been riding bulls (junior & senior) since he was 10 years old. He's 20 now and helps run a youth rodeo, working with the younger roughstock kids. He has been saved many times by a bullfighter stepping in his path, or cover his back.  Bullfighters are true heroes in my book! The best friend a bullrider can ever have!

Reminds me of my late brother my best friend he loved to rodeo. Also reminds me of my nephew who is a bull fighter and my late nephew who was a bull rider and aOut Rider that died at the Calgary Stampede in 1996. This song makes me remember them and all my other family and friends that love to rodeo and the Bull fighters that put themselves out there to help those cowboys!

ima bullfighter i absolutely love this song you become great friends with some of the riders and you have to love your job cant be afraid to sacrifice your body to keep your friends safe you have to sacrifice everything you got so that rider can live another day with his friends and family and live another day to do the sport he loves

i have never gotton on a bull or in front of one but i do know that it takes alot of bravery and pride to ride the bulls and to get in front of them.
some of the best guys ik r bull riders or bull fighters bc the bulls have humbled them enought o know that u never know when it may be your last ride but u ride everytime like it is and give it your best. i thank the lord that there r cowboys like this in my life

Everytime i hear this song i get goosebumps. Im not a cowboy and dont claim to be im just a good ole country boy and i respect these folks for what they do. They put their lives in harms way to protect their friends and strangers.

i know who wrote this song. its about her best friend he was a navy seal and a side road bomb killed. and when he died this how she felt so she rote it down. she plays fiddle professionally and she knows Craig Morgan so she handed him the notes and he didn't even change a note cause its right from the heart.

@c4bucknbulls my boyfriend rode bulls and he got horned in the back and died in less than 30 minutes. This song tells so much about his life. he was best friends with a clown riding was his life. At his funeral i sang this song and we had his horse there. It was a beautiful service but i know if it wasnt for the bullfighters his life could've ended along time ago. thank you so much for everything you do...

This song reminds me of my ex-husband. He was a bull-fighter/rodeo clown, and he was very proud of it! Although we grew apart, and didn't get along anymore, this still makes me feel sentimental.... He injured his back at work (not in a rodeo), and will never be able to do it again.... That's sad, because I know how much he loved it.

last year on october 23 and 24 i rode my fist bull im only 16 didn't start on juniors just started on senior bulls that night i hopped on a bull named spot and soon as i was ready i shaked my head yes and they opened that shoot i rode for 7.27 seconds he flipped me in the air hooked my leg and some how my spur got caught in the rope i thought i was going to die then a bull fighter jumped in and got me loose and he became a good friend of mine after that. thanks randy borrow

my brother was hospitalized back in 05 because a bull stomped right on in ribs and stomache. the dr. only gave him two percent chance to make it. the only reason he survived is because the bull fighter moved him out of the way before the bull got another chance to step on him. i have been around rodeo my entire life and bull fighters are the toughest. they don't just have to deal with one bull they deal with them all.

Ive ridden. and man. its one hell of a rush. but those bulls will get ya. hell. look at layne frost. one of the best bullriders of all time. also my hero. he got hooked in the ribs and one went through his heart. he died in Cheyenne.
