Its a shame "That Kiss" was not included. .otherwise I would have put it up there with one of the best albums to come out of Manchester. ..easily!.. but whats the use.?? I think new album is great - great lyrics, great melodies, great vocals. Falcon is good too. But I'm not that much into St.Jude though, it sounds like hundred others bands.
Fray's vocals improved so much since St.Jude. Don't know what not to like about ANNA.

Well im happy you like it... but its impossible for their stuff to even come close to the first two albums.. it might be ok but St Jude and Falcon are Great Albums.. I guess it depends on taste.. I still Love the Courteeners.. just not this song.. sorry. .

Actually I think this is one of the best new tracks I have heard this year - a breath of fresh air for me. I love it.

Never as good as St Jude.. ill pass on this stuff.. I understand they need to stay relevant. .. this just is not relevant to me.. Im glad I can always go back and listen to Falcon and St jude though..

bands have to make money or they cease to be a band at all

bands evolve, they either do that or they die. It's not like they've completely changed everything that made The Courteeners great, they're still the same group of lads writing about the same things, they've just tweaked their sound a bit. I love St Jude, but there were too many bands doing that "80/90s" indie sound, even bands like Razorlight, The Futureheads, The Twang, etc, look where they are all now. The Courteeners had to change their sound in order to stay relevant

This is undoubtedly one of the best tracks on their album, but its simply not a Courteeners song. They have changed from the original 80's 'indie' sound that was in their first album.... ....

I'm a massive Courteeners fan and followed them before St Jude was realeased but i'm not loving this track so much. Thought they were gonna be a big rock and roll band after Cavorting , Aftershow, What took you so long etc. This is a backward step for me :-(

Why is everyone saying that it sounds like Humbug? It sounds nothing like Humbug. There's some of The Editors in there but it's still got The Courteeners uniqueness in it.
