I sang this around the camp fire at a school camp I was on as a 14 year old back in 1984. The music teacher playing an acoustic guitar started to sing it and I was the only one who knew the lyrics to the whole song! The rest of the group just looked at us with surprise and gave us a big round of applause after we finished the song as they all just listened to the two of us sing. Lol My parents were teens in the 50's and I grew up listening to all their records. I've been a rocker ever since. It's a memory that will stay with me forever. RIP Sam Cooke. A tremendous talent taken far too soon! Thank you for uploading this classic song.

Father loved this song and playing it on the way to sportsball back in the 90s. Every child's favorite I would think.

Use the word love carelessly sometimes. Like a great man once said in a video I just love a lot of people. I was practicing my left handed writing in honor of a great woman lol listening out of the corner of my ear to the OD working with this woman and she surprised me wanting to bring me in to help again, asking, well what do you do? I said I just tell myself I'm better than them (other people). She paused so I said, wait, what were we talking about exactly? Then she gave a real look. So intervened and made it right. At the end of the hour long session, this woman talked about being told she had to say goodbye to her dying mother at age 12 while her younger brother was not told. The others in the group didn't care enough to listen but I told her I can't even imagine going through that at 12 years old, that's really tough, you're a strong person. At that point the Prussian OD got choked up so I walked out. This woman is so beautiful, married, maybe 40. I've never in my life had a woman look at me the way she did in the hallway later in the day. The field of medicine is amazing I think.
