Hi! Mr. David Cook. You are really an awesome guy with really awesome voice truly an American Idol.
I think the reason for low views is not about the quality of the song... In fact the quality of the song you produced are really intense. however since it is intense it will not be suitable for everyday living... I think the genre of the song is best for movies.. Or maybe a very nice movie type music video will make it raise to the top! Thank you David for giving us great musics.

I've seen him live like 5 times... super good!

Compared to his earlier hits I found this song rather repetitious melodically. First he sings the melody in his chest voice in his lower register which is raspy around the edges. Then he sings the exact same melody without any variations in his head voice (high notes). This song has no real build up and big note. It's just the same melody sung low and then high and low again. Where's the drama, the goose bumps in that? David is capable of writing and singing songs better than that.

BTW I believe it is possible to like an artist and still be critical when I know from past works that artist can do better.

I love David, even got to meet and talk with him some years back (hugely doubt he'd recall, but it was about other Idol alums struggling and sinking and I asked him about his being into graphic design). Voted like mad for him to win Idol & loved / continuously played all of his music until Chromance was released. @OfficialDavidCook, I don't know if you care to hear it but this is coming from an adoring fan. You've got to really WANT to still do this. Your character was a big part of your appeal -- but it seems you switched to concentrating too much on doing graphic design and less on good song choices & showing yourself personally in your videos. Vids are a huge part of what gets people drawn in - we don't want to watch a bunch of text or cartooned images. We want to see YOU, with your eyes open again once in awhile when you sing (yes, I sound like Simon right now but it's out of love). The music has become passionless. It's like you quit, and it saddens me to no end. Even your newest release last year... all of what I'm saying applies. If you're too 'above it ALL', that shows and that's what it's seeming like. I saw Daughtry launch their newest tour this past winter & they caught a lot of grief in the change of style, but they utilized social media and did a lot of things right since then to help them re-grow their audience base WITH the new music. Adam Lambert I've seen on solo tour & he's recently given up the label he was with also and is releasing single solos. Sure, he gets some exposure with Queen, but he's also allowing them to still perform and I think he'd be making it without having done that at all. He's feeling a bit disenchanted with the industry biz, but he still loves his fans and it shows. Show your fans you care and that you still want to do this, if you do. My 2 cents, but I do know a little something about the 'biz'.

First time hearing this song and I'm like 🤯 How is DC not all over the radio today, winning Grammy Awards, and taking over the world!!!!! I'm immediately going to go purchase this song. KEEP CREATING MUSIC PLEASE!!
