converge is the band that got me into hardcore music when this album was released, but haven't listened to any of their stuff since, but HOLY SHIT, this is good.

as a long time converge fan since like 2003, this & 'a thousand miles between us' really are two of the best songs converge has ever written... (i can't even compare hem to old favorites like 'downpour' (and it's david lynch influence), or 'letterbomb,' because they're so different. but almost like them almost kinda..more. which is even more respectable.)

This is the first Converge album I've ever heard. (I was way late to the party on this band.) But I was instantly hooked in by the intense, complex, abrasive and beautiful nuances contained in this album. I'm just blown away.

he's just a guy with his own opinions and tastes it shouldn't effect your own taste or opinion. I live in one of the most backwoods bum fuck parts of the country, I've never met another human being irl who listens to or would ever even consider liking Converge... i still like Converge. i even revere the fact that most people would hate Converge if they heard it. It's like if you talk to someone about being depressed and that someone says they know how you feel, like been there done that, and it makes you feel even worse. liking this music is like my own little secret i get to keep to myself, it makes it that much more special. I doubt Fantano freaks out about another band, like he did with Deafheaven's Sunbather, cause it brings out the fake ass fuck boys. am i right or am i huh?

Find myself listening to this track the most frequently off the new album. Converge you always bring something new to each album, thanks for always being a staple I can rely on
