Connick, Jr., Harry - Ding-Dong! The Witch Is Dead Lyrics

Let the joyous news be spread
Let the joyous news be spread
The wicked old witch at last is dead

Below, below, yo ho, let's open up and sing
And ring the bells out ding dong the merry oh
Sing it high

mr. weiss - you are a grumpy old man...actually it is quite a clever arrangement - you say dumb and superficial...wake up - he has one of the better live big bands, and actually, he is quite talented - i don't like his cheesy t.v. show, but he he is rakin' in some cash right now - i guess he is preparing for retirement.

I saw him and his big band live around 2002 in Houston, Texas. It was a superb live show. Loved it so much.

Dumb arrangement. Superficial crap like this has unfortunately led to the demise and unpopularity of jazz.

Viewing your YouTube profile, I'm certain that you already know that Connick Jr is the product of nepotism and a mediocre musician and singer at best. I just wonder if you knew he was the son of Frankie Vaughan and that he only pretends to come from New Orleans? Lions and tigers and frauds... Oh my!

Actually he is a good and talented piano player, particularly in the New Orleans gut-bucket style. Wiki bio says he was born in N.O. The following facts have more to do with the sorry state of jazz in the US and tone-deaf and musically illiterate public. The fact that he started out wealthy and is a successful actor as well, would lead one to question why he continues to put out such mediocre crap and try to pass it off as "jazz."

Joseph Harry Fowler Connick Jr.[1] (born September 11, 1967)[1] is an American singer, musician, and actor. He has sold over 28 million albums worldwide.[2] Connick is ranked among the top 60 best-selling male artists in the United States by the Recording Industry Association of America, with 16 million in certified sales.[3] He has had seven top 20 US albums, and ten number-one US jazz albums, earning more number-one albums than any other artist in US jazz chart history.[4]
