Conley, Earl Thomas - Honor Bound Lyrics

Nothing's been said, nothing's been done
It's hard to see a difference between the rising and setting sun
But I can feel a change it's there in her touch
It's suttle but it's deep and it hurts us both so much
Me because I'm losing her and her because she feels

She's honor bound, bound by promise that she made so long ago
But I love her so much that I can't let her know I know
Oh I know her pure heart made that promise
Honestly, oh but how long can her honor keep her bound to me

She's trying so hard, but it's taking it's toll
Trying to keep her heart warm with a love slowly growing cold
But who knows what is right when everything's wrong
No matter what I do now it won't matter when she's gone
But I how long can I keep holding her when she's only holding me

She's honor bound, bound by promise that she made so long ago
But I love her so much that I can't let her know I know
Oh I know her pure heart made that promise
Honestly, oh but how long can her honor keep her bound to me

Nothing's been said, nothing's been done
It's hard to see a difference between the rising and the setting sun

I visited his hometown of Portsmouth, OH once... on the Kentucky-Ohio border.

  14. M.... ....

1980's country music was hot. To bad we don't here much of it anymore.

  15. J.... L....

ETC had a song on an album named 'Your Love's on the Move" I think? I cannot find it anywhere. Been looking since '90 when my ex destroyed all my music.

    J.... L....

Janine Lightfoot I believe its ..Your love's on the line.

    J.... L....

That is also a great song but not the one I have fragments of stuck in my head. Thanks so much for trying to help. I just so adore ETC and his splendid music. I quit listening to country when it stopped being country music. I do listen to a lot of current artists who are not even pretending to be country. Lady Gaga, Adele, Coldplay I could go on and on. But when I want country it's ETC, Dan Seals, Waylon, Patsy, Merle, George..... well the list is endless!

    J.... L....

Janine Lightfoot country like this is gone ,not sure what you call tidays music,ETC never got the acknowledgment and credit he deserves for his talent ,crying shame to ,He is a awesome person
