Yes she did write the music (at least her part), and she actually is a quite well-trained trained singer. She got her started in musical theatre (I was in a couple plays with her in highschool) and has been training vocally ever since as far as I know. Believe me, that's exactly how she wanted that part to sound.

I just watched her Tiny Desk concert and thought she was great, but this! This is beyond. Too bad they broke up. She seems destined for greater fame as a solo act, but this was a great band.

+Username47948 Genevieve did a solo session about 9 months ago with Audiotree that's also awesome. The drummer/bassist from this session perform with her so it has more of a feel of her Company of Thieves work than her EP did.

What makes her so awesome is that her whole being is fully in the present with the music. She makes those faces you'd see certain incredible guitar players making as they go into musical ecstasy. She is one with the music and uses her whole body and being as an instrument. You can see how she lets it wash over and through her, and when she sings, you're hearing her joy to be alive and making music. That is why I love and respect her. She is music.

This makes me so happy to find stuff like this this groups talented plus I can actulley really see them making it on the radio.

Company Of Thieves is pure class and talent, world will wake from its slumber soon and realise the talent of the decade!

Have to say I prefer the bassist on drums, like in this video, to their current drummer. It's a shame these guys aren't stable and can't keep their lineup together. Gen and Mark are pretty chill. Oh well, hopefully they'll figure it out with/without their label. Woohoo.

So I am there with my friend.. my friend calls his Philly friend and turns out we get invited to a show where "the friend" is playing trumpet for Company of Thieves for Tallulah song.... Her voice live blew me away with their first song...Thank you guys...great show...im your fan now :)
