Como, Perry - Twelve Days Of Christmas Lyrics

I was 4 years old when father bought this LP which revolved rotated around our huge RCA victor throughout the Christmas season as father was a huge Como fan!. Perry had his own TV show too always the charming laid back gentleman that many ladies fancied with his fatherly touch and a velvet voice. He had more hits than Sinatra and Bing during the 40s/50s, which is making a statement!

I really hate how he says Seven Swans a swimming. He sings it like Five Golden Rings, it's really annoying! The Christmas carols good, but can't he sing it like the way it's supposed to be traditionally sang. 🤨

It drives me nuts that he messes up the order of 9-12.12 drummers, 11 pipers, 10 lords, 9 ladies dancing. Perry Como is awesome but I can’t stand his version of this song because of the order.

9-12 is pretty interchangable, so he's done nothing wrong here.

By the time I came along, this album was 14 years old, but I can vividly recall my mom playing this record on her record player. FOND MEMORIES.
