Como, Perry - All At Once You Love Her Lyrics

(All at once you know)
(All at once you know)

You start to light her cigarette
And all at once you love her
You've scarcely talked
You've scarcely met
But all at once you love her

You like her eyes, you tell her so
She thinks you're wise and clever
You kiss goodnight and then you know
You'll kiss goodnight forever
You wonder where your heart can go
Then all at once you know
(All at once you know)

[Instrumental Interlude]

You like her eyes ('like her eyes)
You tell her so ('tell her so)
She thinks you're wise and clever
(You're wise an' clever)
You kiss goodnight and then you know
You'll kiss goodnight forever
You wonder where your heart can go
Then all at once you know
(All at once you know)

Don't know the song, But no one could sing it better.

  3. a.... ....

I don't like the way he sings it. The song is from the musical "Pipe Dream", and it is sung much better on the new Encores! CD of that show.

    JUST MISSED!!! "All At Once You Love Her" just missed making the Billboard's Top 10 chart; it peaked at No. 11 and spent a total of 17 weeks in the Top 100 in 1955/56, it entered the charts on Nov. 12th, 1955!!! {This song was featured in the Broadway musical "Pipe Dream"}

lovely song with beautiful lyrics, and a nice melody, a song with meaning, and as usual sung with perfection from Perry.

  8. C.... S....

it's such a plain song, but incredible!

This is a wonderfully romantic song. I remember when it first was recorded by Perry Como on his show. I suppose it has been dis-favored now because of the 'light her cigarette' line but that, in my opinion, does not detract from the meaning of the song.
I thank whoever it was who posted this.
