Hi. I am 18 years old,my name is Anna. I have never selfharmed, never done drugs and I have great parents and family members and a few close friends that love me so much. I have been homeschooling since 5th grade and I just graduated this year. I am so terrified for next year when I start going to college. Homeschooling has been great and I never want to stop but it has caused me to have more social anxieties and not work very hard. I don't know how I am going to cope. Normally at public events I break down. I feel lonely and whenever I try to make a new friend they end up always saying there busy or don't answer.  I know a lot of people have it worse then I do but if anyone could pray for me that would be nice. Also my brother recently got married and his wife Emily is pregnant. A few prayers for them and the baby would be nice to.

Hey there, just letting you know that I have been through similar things with having social anxieties. I wasn't even home-schooled, but I had always been shy, and I became socially anxious very easily, even around friends. Growing up and becoming confident can be a tough thing. It can take time. I was able to overcome it thanks to God and the good friends He put in my life.

It's good to realise that everyone else is just another human being, just like us, and that they don't need to be feared, especially with God on our side. Don't worry about what other people think of you, you just be you, just like everyone else is being them. We're all different, unique, important, and equal; none of us are higher or lower than the other.

Remember, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind". - 2 Timothy 1:7 God wants us to be courageous! :D We are more than conquerors through Christ!
