Discovered this man and his music about a year ago. When is he coming to Montreal? We need this kind of deep soulful music, miss Townes Van Zandt and the like and Colter is the one that truly is today's folk master.

It's sad how hard it is to find country like this. I grew up listening to 90's country and forgot about country for about 20 years or so. I recently decided I wanted to find some good new country but I wanted some gritty stuff... and NOTHING came up on youtube. If it weren't for this man, I would think not a single modern western music artist is worth listening to. Any other suggestions since I absolutely love this guy?

I like his voice but every song is way too slow and at times his guitar sounds out of tune ....ouch .

I’m 55. I’ve listened to much classic music. Country especially. This motherfucker is a huge talent. No, that’s understating it. He’s writing shit like this while In his early twenties. He’s one of the best singer / songwriters right now on the planet. That ain’t hyperbole.
