It doesn't matter what song these guys make. There will never be a better song than Hopes Anchor. Garretts voice truly shine in this song and I wish he'd do shit like this more.

still bothers me that they don't play these songs anymore. its a mix of garrett not wanting to bc A. his singing voice is not at all on par to what it was, and B. they aren't a christian band anymore. so anything from the first 2 albums will never get the spotlight again played live.

I really hope that Hold On Pain Ends brings back this much singing .  This was their freshman album, but easily their strongest. Not that Know Hope didn't completely change my life, I just miss this sound. 

They aren't a "Christian Band" but their lyrics do have a lot of christian references and I remember back in 2010 when I saw them, Garret gave me and my friends bracelets that said God Power and a scripture on the other side. I'm not religious, but I still love the band and value what they have to say and the fact that he gave us the bracelets was pretty cool.

The Color Morale has overall confirmed that they are not a Christian band. In an interview with Jake Denning (now with Absolutepunk.net), bassist Anthony Wick says this in regards to the band being a "Christian Band" or not: "Most of us are Christians. I think the label 'Christian Band' is more related to marketing and sales than it does an actual belief in something. You see so much of this 'We’re a Christian band, this and that' sort of thing, and you just don’t know what people are like outside of that setting. You can be Christian as you want to be on stage, but off-stage, it’s a whole different ball game with people. I think before you say anything like that, I think you need to live your life according to what you believe, or you’re just a hypocrite and it doesn't matter what you say on stage. I wouldn’t label us a Christian band, but we’re guys that believe in Jesus, and that’s our beliefs — but we like to talk about it in a different sense, different from the idea of “Evangelical Christian Metalcore.

Beliefs are for children, adults know. Jesus Christ came again but everyone was asleep.

This is the song that I just get lost in life with. Like it's just such a beautiful song, I get lost in the melodies and the singing. Even the unclean parts of this song are really pretty, and that's what I enjoy most about this album.

i saw them live on saturday and honestly he didn't sound the same as anything.. i couldn't place the time period that his vocals seemed to represent but you could tell for the most part what he was singing.

I think sometimes Christian won't label their band because maybe not all the members of the band are Christian or because of the scrutiny that comes with the label. I think one thing that is common from all bands with Christian members is the message that "It will be ok." I think one of the great things about music is the ability to relate to it in different ways. For some it's the God based meaning for others it's simply just having hope. Just enjoy the music you know??

They're Christian's in a band. but not a christian band. its funny how they put God in they're lyrics half the time and not claim they're a christian band. either way they Represent something really positive. love these guys

If any of you are interested I know of another really great Christian Metalcore band, they were just about to get signed when they disbanded but they made great music and since they were local to most if not all of you it will be something new to sink your teeth into. Check out In Fair Verona.

Underoath, The Devil Wears Prada, Memphis May Fire, Close Your Eyes, August Burns Red, For Today, The Color Morale, The Ghost Inside. All are great Christian Metalcore bands, it's amazing how times have changed. Christians used to be majority of ignorant, self ritcheous jerks and few real, good ones. Now we still have that ratio but the good ones make their mark in this scene a good portion of the time and I'm so greatful

it may just be me... but when vocalists scream, or do harsh vocals; i feel the emotion in the music more. hes a good singer, but i just prefer bands like adaliah who are completely void of clean vocals. when singers constantly switch between singing and screaming it ruins the atmosphere for me. just my opinion, not trying to flame at all.

Maybe you're fortunate enough to have a not so "messed up life". But for the people who do, music like this reminds you that you're not alone and that others have the same problems. Sometimes when you have a "messed up life" you feel like you're alone in it, but this is a reminder that you're not. The message is different for everyone though.

I am not religious at all, and I listen to this because it's good damn music... Dunno why you need music to sort out your strange so-called "messed up life"... Just enjoy some good music!

I remember 2 years ago, I went to BLEDfest in Hartland, Michigan, and I saw this band and hung out with the drummer. They're an amazing band, and they're extremely nice.

Theses guys, are amazing as a band, and also as persons. We had the oportunity to talk with them ,seriously, for hours and they are so funny!
I really love them. And their music is just more than awesome. I cant wait to see them again live!
