The 80's were great. It's a real shame we can't go back when we want to. Another really sad fact for me is i'm 49 and have yet to have gone to a live concert. I know i really missed out. I've always loved Phil collins He would have been one of the very top ones i would have seen to. I hope He's doing okay,well now a days. Yeah he is grrreat! No doubt about it.

Current day January 2020. Trump is in office but has been impeached. We are seeing possibly the beginning of a pandemic that began in China that is currently affecting millions. There's many more stories that one could add but suffice to say my puppy Kanga is sleeping next to me and I'm listening to this and remembering being 16 when life wasn't so scary, so full of endless news of not so good things. This song is nothing but comfort, like wrapping a blanket around oneself and feeling safe and young again. If only we could bottle what makes us feel at home again yet this song captures it somehow. I remember when i was about 3 or 4 i went to a store with my mom and sister and saw a minnie mouse balloon that i really wanted. I was playing around with it for hours in the store and i just fell in love with it. When it was time to leave i asked my mom if she could buy it for me but she couldn't so i went to place it back and then this song started playing in the store as i looked at it. I just wish i could've taken it home.
