This is such an inspirational song. One of my friends ended her life more than a year ago (I didn't even know her that well, but it affected me a lot). If only she was in a generation that had songs like this.

Every time I hear this song I think of my mom who died in my arms I'm sure he's not talking about his mom it just reminds me of her

I've been suffering from Lyme Disease and Multiple Sclerosis for a total of 13 years now. I've been confined to a wheelchair for 10 years and have been unable to walk at all since 2010. I've been through and continue to go through very tough times. Music is one key thing that keeps me fighting and to hold on to what little hope I have. I remember the days when this track was released and life was so good. I had no idea what was coming my way or why, however, many people are in way worse situations than me. That's another tool I use to keep fighting to the best of my limited ability. I'm lucky to still be alive with everything I've been through so there has to be a reason. I keep patiently waiting for that reason to reveal itself. 🙏🏻

My dad died from lung cancer shortly after this song came out. I was 15. I remember crying a lot and then laughing, and thinking about the lyrics to this song.
