My cousin has grocery bags full of magazines: Creem, Circus, Hit Parader, and for some reason Easyriders. The back pages had an ad for this and The Underground Album. They were older issues, and I was underage, so I thought "there's no way I'll get 'em and even if I do my mom will kick my ass around the house if she finds them". I shoulda tried. I love these damn albums! And thank you Easyriders for letting that preteen see titties so young!

booblikon David Allan Coe actually sells the old X-Rated albums on his website, at least he did a few years ago. I was lucky enough to have a friend find Underground for me at a mom and pop music store on OH. I couldn’t find this one at a music store but came across DAC’s website store. Ordered it there and got it pretty quick.

BTW, if you don’t own either album but want to, the 18 X-Rated Hits album basically has all the music from both of the other X-albums.

I bought this album Nothing Sacred and Underground by D.A.C. from Easyrider magazine in 1983 for like $50.00 which was crazy back then. Played them for many years until I was moving a block away in 100 degree weather just a few years ago. The Nothing Sacred album was on the turn table. Thirty minutes later it looked like a fucking waffle. Looked on EBay for a replacement, yeah $ 300.00... fuck you, LOL. I don't have the heart to throw it away. Forever it will be on the kitchen wall, something to look at when I cook eggs. I see on D.A.C. website I can buy them on CD which I will probably do.

I found some old issues of that magazine in a house I moved into and holy shit, what a great magazine that was!
