She says that this song was about "waking up", coming out of her shell, feeling her feelings, and feeling angry (30 years of anger). Unfortunately, I think this song is about how Robin mistreated her and betrayed her trust over the years throughout their relationship. And, is why she broke up with him 26 years ago.

I'll never understand how Robin never thought about why she was so dedicated to the Bluebeard folktale for this song, with only one album after this before their relationship completely caused her to snap. I'll never understand how Robin didn't think this was her reaching out to try and get a message across to him.

I lived & breathed this band, their sound, Liz's vocals.
This particular tune was relevant when I asked myself if I should continue in a relationship.
Listening to it many years later it evokes feelings from my younger self.
Amazing sound & Liz is one of the finest vocalists in my music collection.

I remember this song was played during the end credits if Highlander The Final Dimension. It doesn't fit the movie, but still a nice song to hear after an average movie at best (Like "Kiss From a Rose" played during the end of Batman Forever).

Reminds me of my Miami years ('92-'95). I had moved there from Chicago due to job relocation. Miami was so musically backwards back then. Stone age. I used to go back to Chicago to stock up on music CDs cuz music like this was impossible to fine in Miami. And whenever I played it and someone would hear it I'd get this funny stares like "What in the HELL kinda music are you listening to?!" In spite of that hearing this brings me back to those days. For better or for worse.
