They kind of did what Van Halen did for "You Really Got Me". Awesome. Didn't change the actual song all that much, but still gave it a sh*tload more life. Two of the best covers ever. Up there with Johnny Cash's "Rusty Cage" and Social Distortion's "Ring of Fire".

Yup, original was done in 1969 and the lyrics are just as relevant now. I kind of like this version better because its much harder. Bob seger does a good version of it too.

I love CCR, grew up listening to them because they were one of my dads favorite bands so I listened to them as a kid of the late 70's early 80's. This is a bad ass cover of an already great song. Love it!
