What is this "rockstar" bullshit of "I say every single word weird?" Are you the creed guy now?

@Tuan Jim listen to the weird pronunciation of every single word , almost like a creed/bullshit rockstar style "Yarl" instead of "yeah." I'm not saying that voice itself sounds like the creed guy, the example had to do with rockstar word pronunciation. Ex: frieendz instead of "friends." I've seen interviews, he doesn't talk like this in real life. He sounds almost like a dorky radio broadcaster, or parody of himself. "Kycikin owff another ten in a row!" I think he should go back to screaming, this doesn't work for me. If you like the pop stuff with the rockstar pronunciation of words, that's your opinion. I know a lot of people like it.

Oh, gotcha. I do find it annoying when some singers do that, like artificially tweak their pronunciation of certain words when singing. A lot of recent "hipster folk" artists do some ear-grating contrived pronunciations in their singing. Tom Delong from Blink 182 is also an example of someone who sounds annoying as shit to me when he sings, and of course many of the "yarlers" you mentioned. But then when some singers do it, it sounds great and awesome, to me at least. It's not black-and-white, for me. Music is essentially performance art, so it's not like there should automatically be some kind of blanket rule that you have to sing exactly how you talk in everyday life. Some singers really get "out there" and do pretty strange/experimental things with their voices or pronunciation, and if they are good/interesting artists, then it works. It really just depends on the artist, to me.

i love how these guys obviously don't have the money for proper music videos but just don't give a FUCK and instead of reaching too far above their limits make the most perfect, cheesy, low-quality video possible

lol he doesn't want to accept the actual lyrics. I've actually felt like that before, where I thought that a song had certain lyrics and I really liked them, but then found out it was actually something totally different, and was disappointed.

Sounds like some US college band and not in good way. Too radiofriendly and usual, hopefully it's only this kind of song in the album.
