One of my favorite pick-me-up songs. Everyone needs a good friend. The members of Cloud Cult seem to have a firm grasp on that idea. We should all watch and listen.

Honestly Cloud Cults Music helped me make it through some dark times in My Life. religious or not, I am an Atheist but I found salvation from Cloud Cult. They really helped me through some of the darkest times of my life. They continue to inspire me to be a better person everyday. I thank Cloud Cult for helping me out. I love you all!!!!

I know I’m 3 years late, and it probably doesn’t matter much, but let me shed some light here: Cloud Cult are more spiritual than religious, bu they are not atheists. Craig was raised Christian but felt closer to God in the woods than in church. Their music has/is about love life (some would say spiritual) and questioning why are we here and also the mystery of God, but that’s different than religious singing.

I love Cloud Cult!!!!

This song is so inspirational. All I do is a good good friend. Kids these days are just so cruel to one another. You have to have skanky piercing just to fit in.

Thank you for posting this. I'm in the late thirty something crowd and also am dealing with the whole empty nest syndrome :) This song is exactly how I'm feeling right now. Unfortunately, I live in a small town in the middle of nowhere and like minded single people in my age group are in short supply here. Your post lets me know that there is hope for finding your best friend. Thank you... even though I know your reply was ment for funnywise, it's served double duty. Thank you.

I know this is an old comment, but I feel your pain. I noticed as I aged and remained without the "house and kids" that my old friends lost themselves into, it became harder and harder to keep the connection with them due to they way our lives had changed. I lucked out in finding a best friend that I also loved, and after 6 years of dating and being engaged, we've been married nearly 4 years and are still best friends. Your friend is out there.

I keep running into the feeling that most people all ready have their "best friends" and if you some how missed out finding one in elementary school, it gets harder and harder...

I decided to end the night with this song, it is maybe I realy need a good friend, I don't know, but do you agree with me that it is getting more and more difficult to have a good friend after a certain age ? not to say impossible, you put more distance, you beware. Yes it would be good to have a good friend, the song translates well the feeling, repeating the song will make it work ? dunno, I will soon turn off everything and leave, I press the play button one last time, here we go.....
