+nora khalid clowns represent, like, cheap fun and jokes (bad entertainment). and the song repetitively says "give it to me easy... and i don't want anything". I think it's about the irony of being given everything too easily. It's a pretty accessible concept that could mean many things to any individual. Cloud Control may have been talking about alcohol and how it affects relationships by acting as a cheap/easy way to have fun and preventing you from holding any kind of meaningful interactions, as evident in the lyrics such as "just wanna get, get, get lit, yeah" "then i'm gonna break your heart". the girl is a character that doesn't want anything, but she wants to get revenge on the clown for being such a terrible entertainer. art is subjective though. what does it mean to you?

I want to share with everyone the bittersweet journey i encountered to find this song.
Every single time the  Hungry Jacks commercial came on I fell inlove with this song.
I attempted to google "What is the song in the Hungry jacks commercial with the mango smoothies".. (i actually googled that exact sentence)
Then I went to lengths of asking the teenage employees at a local hungry jacks what the song is.


Finally...triple J played it at 8am this morning and now this song doesn't make me hungry anymore.

Btw... Mango smoothies at hungry jacks are delectable.. I strongly recommend it on a summers day.

This is so well done. On location in Bolivia, Pro Shot Digital, different locacations,day and night shoots, extras. Top shelf director and editing. The young lady who lip synchs, nails it. There was a lot of $ put into this. And the song and lyrics,are as good as you can get.
