Cline, Patsy - I'm Blue Again Lyrics

I'm blue again
My friends all said I'd be
I'm blue again
Because your leavin' me

This heart of mine
So well remembers you
Although I've lost your love
To someone new

The nights are long
So long, my darlin' hear me
I pray that dawn will come
And somehow, you'll be near me

I'm blue again
My heart is filled with tears
I'm blue again
As I think of wasted years

(The nights are long)
(So long my darlin' hear me)
I pray that dawn will come
And somehow, you'll be near me

I'm blue again
My heart is filled with tears
I'm blue again
As I think of wasted years...

Patsy Cline (September 8, 1932 – March 5, 1963), born Virginia Patterson Hensley, was an American country music singer. Part of the early 1960s Nashville sound, Cline successfully "crossed over" to pop music. She died at age 30 at the height of her career in a private plane crash. She was one of the most influential, successful and acclaimed female vocalists of the 20th century.

impossible to find a bad patsy recording--a real talent/songtress/artist for the ages. impossible to find a singer with even half her talent today in nashville!!! keep your carbon copy, lip synching, video queens/// i'll take patsy over all of them.

I am a young teenage, and none of my friends even know who Patsy cine is... Really sad because some of them need to know her music and get her message out of some of her GREAT HITS! Love Patsy Cline, wish I could have met this amazing country music artist. I also wish all country music would go back to this kind of music!! this world might be better off

My 17 year old daughter loves Patsy Cline. You're right. There aren't many kids these days that know of her and how great she was.

Patsy could sing the telephone book and make it sound heavenly. I miss you, Patsy. I will love you forever.

Looking at the end message where it says "QWJS brought to you live from Trenton Ontario CANADA where country legends lives on" ... does that mean when country legends die, they get on a train to Trenton Ontario and live on forever? LOL God Bless Patsy Cline and all the good she had done while with us in this life. Requiescat in pace (Rest in Peace).

For those that don't know it, "Blue" a LeAnn Rimes hit in the early 60's was writen for Patsy to record, how ever her obligations and contract prevernted the song from being recorded by Patsy, and then the aircraft accident that took her life. Imagine what "Blue" wound have sounded like if she were able to record it then. The song was shelved until the writer whom i've forgotten heard LeAnn singing. Through talks with LeAnn;s father/manager LeAnn was able to record the hit meant for Patsy.
