Cline, Patsy - How Can I Face Tomorrow Lyrics

Tonight alone I 'm thinking
Of the things we use to do
There's laughter all around me
But my heart still aches for you

The wedding bells are ringing
But to me their chimes are blue
How can I face tomorrow
When I know I'm losing you

The dreams we shared
Have all been torn apart
It's your wedding day
But I can't claim your heart

Now someone else will hold you
Just the way I use to do
How can I face tomorrow
When I know I'm losing you

The dreams we shared
Have all been torn apart
It's your wedding day
But I can't claim your heart

Now someone else will hold you
Just the way I use to do
How can I face tomorrow
When I know I'm losing you...

This was supposed to be a Christmas song- called 'Christmas without You". Changed the lyrics though.

what? i heard w. nelson wrote alot of her stuff but....a christmas song? its about her man marrying another

No, Willie Nelson didn't write much of her songs at all. This was originally a Christmas song. Patsy wanted to record it . It was called "Christmas Without You". Her label didn't want her to do a Christmas song (for whatever reason), so the lyrics to the song were changed to this "How Can I Face Tomorrow". https://www.udiscovermusic.com/news/new-showing-luanne-hunts-version-lost-patsy-cline-christmas-song/
