I've loved Clay since I was 19. Wednesday night I was a seat filler at the CMAs. I never once got weak in the knees till I was at the back of the stage and felt someone swaying to music behind me and I turned around and it was Clay in a black stetson. My heart turned to mush. My professional CMA seat filler self of years about broke into tears and turned 22. He hadnt aged a bit and I remembered why I fell in love w this music so many years ago

Saw Clay Walker with my teenage son back in the 90's. I was the type who didn't spend money on concerts. Ever. But my eldest son looks so much like Clay...even today...and I loved his music so much, well, I took my son to a CW concert. I am now a grandmother. And THAT son STILL looks like Clay. And he has two daughters. I'd heard about Clay Walker's MS. But then I found this music from 2014 and read up a little on his "remission". I was sooooo blessed to see/hear this video. Clay, you are STILL brilliant. You ARE the essence of the country music "heart". Keep singing when you feel well enough to do so. (And listen to your wife when she tells you to do your exercises!) Prayers for a full life for you....coming from North Idaho!

It's close to Christmas time. Suicide rate is pretty high for lonely people. So instead of attacking me for being sensitive to the needs and feelings of others why don't you try it? Instead of passing up a person who is lonely and feeling unloved why don't you stop and ask them how they are doing and see if you can help. And the best way to help someone is by simply being their friend. They could be sulking on a bench but that doesn't mean they probably won't be sulking on a bridge later. Maybe you can stop them from making their way to that bridge. Everyone needs love and affection. That's advice all of us including myself can put into practice.
