Some days you could be in a specific mood and it could mean something totally different. With that being said, here is my perspective: The beginning of the song shows his emotional scars, the middle scene shows his physical scars. Hence the jumping. Notice how it immediately cuts to scene of him older with the scar running down his face? Well we forgive and forget, the day doesn't die. some days are beautiful, some days are terrible.
Its all a part of the vicious cycle that we live in.
