I've been sick for 3 months now. I have been so down both physically and mentally I have stopped doing many things that kept my life going. Although this song isn't the happiest and despite the "taking a leap off of the precipice, it carves deep down on my emotions and motivates me somehow. You know, " whatever the cost whether it works out or not". I might as well just jump off of this depressing and gloomy building I'm in and start exploring again

@Magic Boygood insight and explanation. However, when a worldview collides with another worldview, that's what is upsetting. Or if a belief/conviction based from a set of principles is contradicted by the another belief/conviction; that is the contention/tension here.

Theres a few things that separate this band from mainstream alternative rock such as: Mayday Parade, Pierce The Veil, Sleeping With Sirens, All Time Low, etc. (All bands that give alternative a bad name) 1. They add some more catchy drum patterns 2. They like to mix up their style a little bit from time to time 3. The singer doesn't sound like he has a fucking raccoon tugging on his god damned nutsack! 

Suggestions: The Dangerous Summer, The Spill Canvas, The Almost. IF ANYONE KNOWS OF ANY GOOD BANDS LIKE THESE PLEASE LET ME KNOW! (P.S. is there a reason why they all have "The" in the beginning of their names?)

@Husky Pumpkin Lol... the only band that even claims to be alternative is Mayday Parade, and some of SWS' newer stuff.  Pierce the Veil is post-hardcore, not alternative.  All Time Low is pop punk turned pop rock.  Once again, not alternative.  Jason Lancaster (ex-Mayday Parade) and Alex Gaskarth (All Time Low) are also considered to be some of the best vocalists in the "underground" scene.  Do your homework before trying to discredit hard working bands.  Just because you don't like them doesn't mean they're bad.  And if they WERE alternative, they definitely wouldn't give it a bad name.

My favorite thing about the classic crime is how they change styles and are still amazing on every album. I usually dont like pop (this album has a little bit of that in it) but thats mainly when it is unintelligent sounding (which this album is NOT). I also love the straight forwardness of the lyrics. And to too the package off, I live near seattle, so they are the perfect band for me. And, I am ANGRY and I am at a complete loss to how they havnt had HUGE commercial success, but I guess fame has never done any good for a person so its probably for the better.
