I don't know if you're saying sound wise or timewise but this song is most definitely not from the Thankful Era. Eric Hutchinson wrote this song. Kelly heard it and loved it so much that Eric gave it to her.

Maybe the reason they didn't include this to the standard tracklist is bcos it sounds too diff from the other songs which is sad bcos I think this is such a wonderful track and the vocals - just plain brilliant! She keeps on hiding her true self behind catchy hooks when she's perfect for the blues.
