Downloaded this song yesterday to one of my yoga playlists. I am a yoga instructor and I always try to pick a touching song to end my classes with. I played this song this morning for Savassana, final rest. You know that you picked a good one, when someone in class is wiping away tears after class. Beautiful, sweet, and as Colton said, sublime. The entire Album is superb. It was crafted with love and expertise from all who contributed...not least of which were the songs created by JJ Cale. I marvel at the song writing skills and am blown away by the musicianship on display. BUY THE ALBUM...it is a masterpiece.

I think trying to learn to play these licks with Mayer's touch and feel will give you 90% of what you need to accompany simple tunes in a major key. (Not that I'll ever get there, but I think its worth the effort.) Study the masters.

John Mayer's studio albums are the most disappointing in history. Not one of them displays his ridiculous guitar playing talent. Only when you hear or see him live do you find out that he's one of the best guitarists ever.

@Sricharan C There it is, this random dude's 12 year old daughter's (who isn't capable of understanding songs completely) is put off by the lyrics on two of his more underwhelming albums so therefore, it's all bad. BTW Mayer is way better than anyone in Steely Dan. Neon proves this.

Such a lovely masterpiece made for rainy days. This is definitely one of those songs that makes a person feel both nostalgic and sad while still assuring there's a glimpse of light at the end of the tunnel. It's perfectly acceptable to live in the past every now and then as long as it's just a temporary state of things.

Thanks John Mayer you are good, and very close to sounding like J.J. But he just had that timing with how he sang the lyrics. It is like listening to a comedian trying to do Red Skelleton jokes, or I love Lucy. I will listen for songs sang by you John Mayer.
