Clapton wrote this after he asked Patty Boyd to bring him back a pair of Bell Bottoms from her trip to the US. Boyd was George Harrison’s wife at the time. This song, Layla (Clapton) and Something (Beatles) were all written about Patty Boyd.

Nice version. I am an acoustic guitarist, and I was looking for a way to perform this mostly solo, (a bridge too far, maybe ;) ) but I much prefer this song in the electric version. All that being said, Eric does a nice job. Especially nice bass by Nathan East, channeling Carl Radle, strong drums from Steve Gadd and Billy Preston on Hammond. Solid Andy Fairwether--Low second guitarist and who is the electric piano player?
