Holy fuck AG does it again been listening non-stop for a year. Such mesmerizing instrumentals mixed with the insane vocals. Circa don't ever stop playing I live for your tunes!!! Lyrics are too relatable at times.

It is really hard to say that this is my least favorite song on the album when I love every song on the album including the two late releases and this song. I love this song but I felt the need to iterate that I love it a little less than the others.

some people don't consider the above mentioned medication to be something that would classify as "not clean".
opioids are difficult to come back from. at times, a little assistance is necessary.
and for someone who had a high tolerance, being on subs wouldn't provide a "high", it would instead stabilize, normalize, maintain, and correct the life of an addict...

James Joyce I agree. but that doesn't change the fact that a lot of people *do* feel as if they are "clean" while on subs.
and my only question was if Anthony is maybe one of those people? you can't claim to know his outlook on that particular subject, nor can I.

but I'm sure you can also admit, subs do save lives... there are a lot of people out there who, let's face it, can't face any day without "something"...
personally, I hate subs... and not a day goes by that I don't wish I had a few blues to wake up to, then more, etc... etc... it sucks, heh.
but that's no longer possible... eh well, I'm getting off track... but yea, it's a battle, and for some people subs help to aid in the fight.
especially considering that not everyone can escape it and be 💯 opioid-free...

Intersected hands decay, Intersected eyes" kind of choppy on repeat until he actually comes in with the verse around the 4 min mark. Its hard to make out because its more or less background screaming, plus its kind of faint.

i was walking to work one morning a few days after this album came out. i was hooked on dope and speed . . . just getting by. i remember walking across the highway to get to the mall where my job was. at that time in my life especially, i felt a hollowness inside myself that i knew was there that i kept trying to stuff away. i imagined walking in front of a car as it sped through the green light. this song was playing, and i just kept on walking to work because the sound of the song made me feel as though i wasn't alone in how i felt. im now sober over 14 months.

After the 3rd album of SWS I thought they would go melodic like this. They had songs like "Who are you now" "Satellites" "Sorry". Kellin had the perfect voice for this type of post hardcore style.

I've never left a comment on a Circa video.

I can listen to circa survive’s music over a million times and still be moved to tears.

Why dislike?

Ok so I came to a theory when I was high watching this, what about the fire works represent a better future we could have, or something that make it worth it, that's gives us that since of comfort and better choices we could make. But because of our fear, ego, ignorance, etc we don't turn around to see them. At the end Anthony faces the fireworks, representing that he is trying to see the good things in life (the fireworks in the background) but the keeps being ignorant etc and decided to turn around meaning. And that's the meaning of the conviction inside us and having to deal with ourselves.

Happy New 2019, I'm receiving the year with this song...

Such a beautiful and moving song

Not to get super political, but could this song be about a vet returning home? His whole life he was told that military was the way the to go. Then he comes home. He sees the graves of others that have served. His voice is inherently violent because of what he has been trained for, what he has seen. The video shows fireworks as any ceremony would have. However he hasn't adjusted yet. If you paired this with "The Most Dangerous Comercials" it almost fits. Just a thought. I could be waaaaay off. I love Anthony and all the musical bliss he has given me!

This video makes me think of True Detective Season 2.

If only the production quality of the music video matched the production quality of the song.... it'd be amazing. Not throwing shade, just some constructive criticism.

Interesting technique for the video. Had Anthony lip sync or sing over the song at 2x speed and recorded it at 2x higher FPS. Then slowed it down along with the song and his lips are still in time with the lyrics, but everything else is in slow motion. 2x the video for natural speed!

lets be honest, the very first time i listened to circa survive, its really hard to accept, since their music totally different from the mainstream rock band at that time, the only thing i know is green was the vocal for saosin, and he has such a great voice.
the longer i follow this band, its become.. what should i say.. its unique, their distinct sound, i mean, which other band you can think of to produce such sounds with 2 set of electric guitar. maybe there are others, but for damn sure i know theyre probably the first one to do that. unlike some usual music, which usually the instrument serve as the background sound to support the vocal. these guys.. can actually make it feels like, the instrument sing along with the vocal. its molded.
i cant even imagine how much thinking it takes to create music such as this.. the process mustve take a load of brainstorming.
