Listen to the end of House of Leaves and you notice is leads into this song. If you remember the plot of "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" then this makes so much sense considering this album is inspired by the movie.

No, it doesn't sound like Descensus, maybe something off Blue Sky Noise or Juturna. But honestly, it sounds like Translating The Name. That albums is epic man, you haven't listened to it all the way.

It most certainly does, some of it. Other parts sound like Saosin. But this album is a great blend of what they used to be and what they had grown into as musicians. If you don't hear Translating The Name EP in Along The Shadow then you weren't listening to it when it came out.

Currently this is the first song I've ever listened to by them. I'm a huge fan of post hardcore and metalcore, but also a huge fan of indie rock and post rock. I've heard this band's name before but never bothered to look them up. But after seeing that they're touring with From Indian Lakes, which is one of my favorite bands of all time, I had to. And I'm loving what I'm hearing.

If you let them, they will help you explore the depths of your mind. Not always the positives sides, but deep as hell.
