From the comments, it seems most people know her from her album, "Ten". However, from someone who listened to "Lessons to be Learned", the album before "Ten", it's not like she "improved" from "Ten". Actually, form what I've read, she was really upset about what a sellout that album was. She basically went back to something like her earlier sound, with some changes for the better. I listened to her music in high school, and I'm hooked on her music once again!

her late songs are so much better than her old ones. Gabriella has grown up

I began to listen to Gabriella after I heard "Hearts don't lie" and "Save the lies". Her musical style changed a bit since then but I loved the new album "The Sting" too.
I wish you success, Gabriella. You are very talented and the whole world should know it.

'The Sting' as an album is a nice change from 'Ten'. Sounds like music she **wants** to make.

Gabriella I sincerely wish you well. You are learning a lot and I for one are happy to see you've correctly identified what's right and wrong in life. The train you were on previously was not going to lead you anywhere truly meaningful. The train you're on now while harder, will be more meaningful. There's something about you that just makes me root for you, I don't know what it is, I wish I could put it into words better. You definitely relate better to people in the real world,  you're a real person. God bless you, ....I really don't know why I root for you so much, I usually wouldn't care less about pop stars so to speak, but something about you matters, I think the direction you are going is what matters. You've had so many voices telling you to go here or go there, its hard to walk your own path, but its important to do so, and it takes courage. God bless you.

There must be albums that I don't know about because every song that I listened to and research that I have done on Gabriella (chil-me) I give her nothing but respect give credit where credit is due. Shes very knowledgeable and knows her history, has worked very hard to be where she is at now. I felt the sting Great song...Word

I don't think people give her enough credit, she lives next door to me and I hear her practicing all the time and she's great, she really is! Her voice is so unique and really powerful as well. Her image changed so dramatically because her old label tried to sex her up and now she's back to doing her own thing, writing her own songs, trying things out. She became famous at 16, she's only 22 now -everyone changes during those years, she's growing as an artist and I think she's a lot better than most of the commercial crap out there

I completly agree. I didnt know that they forced her to change so drastically...On a Mission was a such failure. This song somehow proves that she is getting back on track where she should be musically.

Sounds pretty good, obviously not wrote to be a chart hit or it'd have a verse from flo rida... but it's catchy. Hopefully the new album is more lessons and less 10. Not that 10 was bad but lessons was so so good!

TEN being bad or not is actually liking it or not. I know people who enjoy the album and yeah sure it has some cool tracks and ideas on it, but the same old electronic riffs and those lyrics.. just not for me. Overall, the album is pretty damn weak. Maybe it was the label´s fault, but I remember how excited Cilmi was in her facebook posts and tweets with TEN. And The Sting, I think it could have been produced better. The song is not bad, I enjoyed the acoustic live version.

I don't know what you're all fussing about. It's been years since I've been her fan. This still sounds like Gabriella Cilmi to me.

Ten was far from bad. Superhot, Boys, On A Mission, Robots, LOVE ME COS YOU WANT TO(!!!), & Defender were all golden.

The Sting doesn't sound unfinished at all. Sounds different because it's the music SHE wants to make, not some stupid label.

As much of a fan that I am and Lessons to be learned being one of my all time favorites, I have to say that this song sounds unfinished and the vocal arrangements sound like crap. The live acoustic version of this sounded much better and it was recorded with a simple camera. Not a fan of Sweeter in history either.. it´s sad that the last album was already so bad, I really had my hopes up with this one. But, in the end, it´s her music, she can do whatever she wants.

"Unfinished" said the man who obviously doesn't understand drum grooves...

after so long? She released an album in 2010, one video a year ago and another video a few months ago.
