not "just like" but it is close, MCR doesn't incorporate the piano as much and of course the voices are different but equally emotional. Whenever I listen to old Chiodos I do think to myself it's like a twisted version of old MCR from an alternate universe.

Sooo much agreement between me and you dude. Derrick was a very unique drummer with chiodos. he has something alot of drummers don't, and what it is is his control in dynamics. part of that would probably be that he played in the OC drumline in san antonio in highschool. Derrick without a doubt has alot better technique then alot of drummers, and can play with dynamic difference. Tanner kinda just kinda wails on his set. granted they both have talent, but i like derrick better.

i just dont like many of these post-hardcore screamo type bands, where most of the vocalists cant actually sing - but this song in particular just seems really.. off. It's mixed really poorly, i guess.

I recently started listening to Chiodos. I really like this song and The Words "Best Friend" Have been Redefined. So far I really like them. The singer's voice is interesting to me :3

@penguin27pie a new album with a new vocaist that's all. I've heard some songs from the new album which is called alluminaudio. It's really good so far and it doesn't diverge to much from the Chiodos with Craig.
