Chiodos - Looking For A Tornado Lyrics
From your knees, you've lost all direction; So afraid of rejection
Lost, little toys in forgotten parks
Do I believe in us; do I believe in lust?
Am I just desperate for a pick-me-up?
Maybe, I got a little lost while searching for my faith, stuck to your cross
You set fire to everything around; worry yourself into the ground
You take all you can and leave the poor begging for more
Do I believe in love; do I believe in heaven?
(At the sound of church bells, they come running)
All my clocks stuck on eleven; afraid if I hit my knees, I might get nothing
Devil, don't ever let me go
I've been looking for a tornado; chaos is something I've been missing
Devil, don't ever let me go
I've been looking for a tornado; chaos is something I've been missing
You start wars everywhere you go
You take shots at everyone you know, and no one can help you 'cause you refuse to receive it yourself
Do I believe in love; do I believe in heaven?
(At the sound of wolf cries, they come running)
All my clocks stuck on eleven, I put too much of my faith in nothing
Devil, don't ever let me go
I've been looking for a tornado; chaos is something I've been missing
Devil, don't ever let me go
I've been looking for a tornado; chaos is something I've been missing
This is the sound of your savior running in need of anything to save you from nothing
Devil, you're evil
Devil, don't ever let me go
I've been looking for a tornado; chaos is something I've been missing
Devil, don't ever let me go
I've been looking for a tornado; chaos is something I've been missing

Chiodos Looking For A Tornado Comments
2019 and Chiodos is still my favorite band. This entire album is underrated, Bone Palace Ballet is an absolute masterpiece though.
Can't believe this has been out for 5 years... I... i fucking LOVE YOU!
I would have loved to hear this song live. Guess that's what happens when Craig never wants to stay in one band and always wants to hop to new shit like badXchannels now. I don't understand the method to his madness honestly. I know it's a business and you gain fans in a great band and then you wanna leave everytime which I don't understand. Give it time I bet he won't give badXchannels much effort neither🤷♂️
This band needs a comeback
this is actually really good
Love the whole song but that chorus is great, I love how the guitar riff with the lyric devil really gives you a feel for the song, the evil
good job
So can any one tell me what's with all the illuminati undertones to these new tracks? An I totally just realized that my two all time fave vocalists have the eyes tatted n eye sight Johnny Craig's on his neck n Owens on his chest. I love this band tho an I am so glad thy got back to him as vocalist honestly one of the greatest of NY generation.
ive seen chiodos 4 or 5 times 2004 to 2008 warped tour in selma tx, corpus christi tx,mcallen texas, pharr tx convention center. chiodos till i die!
this is my favevorite song of this album too bad that they broke up.. I'm a crazy fan since 2006 :'(
WTF I REMEMBER THIS BAND AND WHEN I WAS IN LOVE WITH THEM
jusus christ.. so underrated
this entire album is worth more then just buying....
Thomas did amazing work with the guitar in this track. Such an eerie feel in the chorus. Fantastic
thank you
Never mind I don't like Chiodos anymore.... Why'd you guys have to become satanic? Jesus loves you guys so much....
This isn't satanic. Just because it has the "devil" in it doesn't make it satanic.
jesus isn't real. he's just your imaginary friend
Hell yeah, I'm digging this! This is the Chiodos I fell in love with!
@Dustin Jolley It truly is an amazing album. I don't know why a lot of fans hate on it though.
I put too much of my faith in nothing 👌
+NicoleLizette What does that line mean I never understood?
What's this song about because I've seen the lyrics and its not good what the song is already trying to say.
@***** that's going too deep. I don't believe it's in your soul
DSkehan2004
Personally, I think this song is about embracing chaos, and 'evil', the devil, one's own dark side, and the dark side in the world.
"Devil! Don't ever let me go. I've been looking for a tornado. Chaos is something I've been missing."
The riff at 0:33 is so Thomas Erak Love it.
Best song by Chiodos so far.
Your voice just shitted on the song
i found myself singing the chorus yesterday for no apparent reason
LOVE this song, favorite on the album for sure. But the entire album is stellar, and could easily become my new favorite. And I've been with this band since the beginning.
Craig where have you been? I'm so glad he's back. This is what I've been missing in my music lately.
love these new videos!!! #sick #epic
This is the only Chiodos album I have listened to. I listened to it because I'm a fan of Thomas Erak and I personally think it's great. I don't have a stance on what this is compared to old Chiodos, but I know rock enough to know this a solid album.
Band evolution is awesome. Every artist, regardless their instrument, or their voice, goes through transformation. Different tastes, different ideas, and it changes the way they write and create. It's a challenge to NOT create the same album over and over and get stale this day and age. So, a tip of the ol' hat to Choidos and all involved for what they have accomplished here. My ears are happy!
All's Well That Ends Well was the album that got me into the whole genre in the first place. So glad Craig is back with Chiodos.
Well you must be disappointed because this sounds nothing like All's well
@Patrick Bateman Doesn't have to sound the same to appreciate it. Craig is a great vocalist and the band as a whole is fantastic at what they do. Huge fan.
@David Brown The album is garbage bro. Craig's vocals are better on all's well, the chiodos bros 3 cds and cinematic sunrise. His vocals have gotten worse
@Patrick Bateman
he grew up.
i will admit it is not the iconic vocals he was known for but i love the raw edge that they mixed into this album.
it is very different and it has some stupidly mainsteam songs on it (im looking at you 3AM) but i enjoy most of it
@LuckyMoniker i feel like craig just brought in a speck of DRUGS into this album, lol people voices change all the time...
This song gives me so many feels. I can't even
not chiodos
@loganrgamer Take a step back and calm down. No need to get so hostile about such a simple comment.
@Yoga Hardians I agree with you on that. They have evolved as a band but I dont know if it was in the best direction. at least not for my listening pleasure.
But literally chiodos
i love the whole album im soo excited to see them at the glass house
Does anyone else hear a bit of "In a Heartbeat" by John Murphy in that riff near the end?
this new album blows bone palace away!
@Joe Guardino I disagree with that. I think they both are solid albums. With the exception of Illuminaudio (which I could never really get into), I think all their albums are solid. But to each their own.
Im sorry. And I will say this in the kindest way possible because I do believe that to each their own. But if you think this is better than Bone Palace Ballet then you should probably stop listening to music altogether.
@Joe Guardino If that was in reference to me, in no place in my comment did I say Devil is better than Bone Palace. I simply disagreed with the like dozen greater than symbols you used. I'd say [in my opinion] its better, but not by the wide margin you were referring to. Hence my comment, "to each their own".
facts. this album is really DRUGS-esque, which without a doubt is Craigs best work to date.
I am seriously just loving every single song on this album. Gosh.
Definitely the best song so far.
Favorite song on the album. Finally something that sounds real and raw.
That's what I'm saying. Best song so far.
You should hear the lyrics more clear, might not be something you want to be that raw.
My favorite song on this album!!!! Craig Owens is seriously a lyrical genious!!! :D
I've seen so many leaks of the album but I'm holding myself back and waiting till the first day it releases because I Need this album.
Love it!!
So far ive liked almost every song... Im buying a hard copy digital and vinyl.
Can't till you guys release the album! Definitely buying it..
Soo loving this album!!
New Chiodos is something I've been missing.
Well done.
Uyyyyyyyy ♥
