This was the best song on Something Wild... Lake Bodom was the intro to the CoB sound - but this song just absolutely ripped everything up one side and down the other. I never knew what hit me when that guitar/harpsichord shit started.

The harmony and melody of this song are incredible. Specialy the final (sweeping) part that starts with C# harmonic minor, goes through a quick modulation to diatonic minor and goes back to C# harmonic minor . It contains almost every chord between F# and C#!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (C#m ; Cº ; B ; A ; G# ; Gº ; F#m). It uses also both modes of the diminished scale. I'd really love to understand how Bodom did such masterpiece.

The intro is a combination of Nightmare on Elm Street opening scene, where Freddy is making his gloves and Ben-Hur.

Most underrated song by COB by far.  Totally unique in that it's the only song by any band to link baroque music to metal.  Love their later work (particularly Hate Crew Deathroll),  but nobody's ever done anything like this before or since.

It has mother of toilet seat inlays and painted neck and an ugly yellow, and is factory made. Also, Alexi's wildchild guitar is NOT the jackson that roope gave him. the wildchild guitar is his own custom shop. roope never gave alexi a guitar as a gift. the black and yellow guitar alexi had before his wildchild he bought from another stone guitarist

i remember whev this was released. i went to town after school and saw this amazing looking cd cover . And ever since then i fell in love . Now i wobder is there any other bands with similar sound? 2nd album was also good but it did not have the mystical athmosphere.
