The solo in the new version sounds like every bit of it was pieced together in editing and there's WAAAAY too much wah pedal. This one sounds like Alexi did most of it in one or two tries and the whammy bar squeal acts as a way better transition for the interlude/2nd half of the solo in this version, which just sounds cleaner in general here.

That's the difference in the two versions in a nutshell. This one is more raw, the new one is more produced and in my opinion over-produced.

To each their own, though. The new one just feels kinda neutered by comparison to me.

This version is much better. The vocals are much better, and the keyboards at 1:20 are actually audible here whereas on the Hexed version, they're mixed very low. Furthermore, the guitars and drums sound much better here. Just better overall.

@Jani Ukkonen strangely I think the opposite to you, in Hexed the vocal and instrumental quality is much better, it's more balanced, all the instruments are protagonists :)
