Intro is pure garbage, but the song is one of the best ever made.

I don't feel like watching thru the full movie, but could someone tell more exactly from where in IT this intro is (and yes, I know it is there)?

I agree, Bodom's boys has sold themselfs at these days.. I really loved first 3 albums and hatecrew deathroll was also nice, but then happened something and i was like what in the bloody hell has happened to this band? Like these days.. Im again whatta fuck happened?

Its easy to understand why people hate new bodom but id give halo of blood a chance, id say its the same quality of hatecrew deathroll. So not old bodom but its close enough

+Metal Dude Look up "Tokyo Warhearts." It is a live album of their first two albums only. It's all online. The songs are actually a little bit different. Especially this one, and Lake Bodom. It's a real kick in the ass.

Does anyone recognize the melody from the solo beginning at 2:03 ? It sounds familiar.

@Dave Lawlis The material on this album was heavily influenced by guitarists like Malmsteen......and Malmsteen is famous for spearheading the 'Neoclassical' metal genre....obviously combining many of the melodies and structures of Classical music in a heavy metal setting.

Thanks for the reply. I know about the classical influence on metal thing--the phrase in question just sounded to my ears like a sped up English folk song, which is also an influence on some metal sub-genres  ;)

Complexity doesn't make things better, but older CoB was much more complex and technical, and much more beautiful and fun to listen to

ahh I get it, well complexity doesn't make things "better" musically.. I don't think for example that Maiden's newer albums are better than their golden years from a musical perspective even though it's more complex in writing

@TheSysmt You got the right point. I consider they have a masterful trilogy, a kickass and catchy album (Hate Crew Deathroll), and the three last albums are not as good, but still enjoyable

@TheSysmt that's true, those 3 albums certainly have that unique Bodom sound to it, which is faded away in their music sinds are you dead yet? but it's still an awesome band, gotta give credits to their new album it sounds fantastic i saw them live in march and it was fantastic so no complaints, just the fact that music evolves, i guess

C'mon we all love COB partly because of the band themselves, they all have such different personalities and they would be fun to hang out and party with. Lets all just love them for the whole package who cares who likes what album better just bask in the glory that is Children Of Bodom!!!

@jellehenk You follow the band and stick with them through whatever they write like a fan would. Should Marilyn Manson fans liking it really put a damper on the fact that Children of Bodom is writing good music still? The music has the same breakdowns and solos that all the first 3 albums had and they are just as good. I don't see why people hate the new albums so much I enjoy them the same as Hatebreeder.

@jellehenk ... and i really dont want them to retain either a something wild like or a follow the reaper like sound simply because if it is in excess it would loose its sheen ... you remember and whine for it only because their sound is not heard in any other song ... try finding another album like Something Wild ... better left as a masterpiece than mass-produced for stupid idiots

@jellehenk Alexi and Jaska have said so that their first album was a big mistake according to them and they dont like it at all .... ( however many fans including myself think it to be the best and most unique album ever) they prefer the newer albums
