I don't get the hate here. COB is paying tribute to an epic band and doing a great job with it...making it their own, like you should with a cover. I like COB even more now.

I think they could have made much more honor to this great song. It's a filler bonus so I guess they didn't spend that much time thinking about the production. 2/5.

Seeing songs from a different angle with each band's influences with respect and for fun. Each band is great on their own and has their mark

but the chorus is messed up.

In my opinion there is too much aggression in this version. It lacks that melancholy of original. But if you takie Amorphis' Everytime I Die it's vice versa. Still it's nice to see these bands appreciate each other.

God, stop comparing the two versions. Do people even know what a cover is supposed to be? You can hate CoB all you want, but the purpose of covers is to pay homage to the original, and stylize it in your own way. CoB took the song, and put their own influence on it in what I view to be a tasteful way. Both versions are great. The song itself is good, and it would be hard for anyone to ruin it tbh.
