Now that I'm relistening to this album, it's hard to determine what song is my favorite on it.

I rode my bike home to camp in fiftieth grade, I had heartbreaks in elementary school playing letter home, thinking I was actually in love and sad for a week, BTI came out my 7th grade year, on my 13th birthday, and when I heard 3005 on the radio I geeked. I started watching community and getting into weirdo and all that then, and no lie in 8th grade when he got all depressed I was so into him and thought he was such a genius with his screen writing and his duality, and his ability to push weird boundaries with his art when to be completely honest, it was hard to do and be really popular back then. Even today BTI is really odd, it’s track by track feel after listening through the album feels almost like a dream, and with the screen play incorporated, and the visualization, you feel like it’s almost a movie, but when you close your eyes it’s still that fucking dream. I thought BTI was my favorite album, but when Donald released awaken my love I fell in love. When he performed it at Bonaroo it became my all time favorite performance and song, when he played funkadelic, I also fell in love, and that turned me onto Hendrix and Bootsy Collins, George Clinton, James Brown, etc. when I saw him in Oakland on tour it was phenomenal, I was blown away, and cried three times lol. I’ve graduated high school this year and I have been just going back through what I grew up on and this shit hits me home so hard just because all of BTI was a solid 3 years of growing for me, and in the period of time between BTI and AML! I got ito poindexter (shoutout sunshine girl and almost there) I am just a rapper, royalty (best mixtape), and Kaui/STN MTN (bro ASS shots is a classic) extensively, but out of all the all the Bino verses ever, and everything I just said about my journey and love for Bino that’s spammed almost 9 years now, starting with Heartbeart and ending with the lion king songs (waiting for more you bitch) I can rest assured with knowing that Donald’s verse in The Party is the hardest he ever goes in studio, maybe not lyrically, and not overall compared to songs like me and your momma, but out of all his rap projects, this verse was the hardest on the mic. Good night.
