Tyler Childers is the greatest song writer since towns van zandt, and a far better singer. I absolutely love everything he plays, I’m not sure why country music hasn’t welcomed him in. They’re missing out on one of the greatest of all time.

Anyone able to explain to me the lines about blackbirds and thrushes? is it also a hunting reference?. like sitting in a blind? Because there seems . to me, no negative association with blackbirds, thrushes or squirrrels. its just the narrator has made a pretty dark realignment of the worth of 'ladies': they're vermin. or destructive invasive species. packs a wollop, that final line.
